Used to deal with a sales rep Frank Grossi nicest guy around and helped me out in any department, even woman's for my wife now gone I have dealt with a handful of reps, one most recently at men's furnishings.. not happy.. not only did they not have the size, not uncommon, they were not willing to get me one in a timely manner without charging me.
Ended up leaving the store after putting everything in a heap and buying the same shirt online for less money and free shipping.. my Nordstrom points are messed up and now, I'll go to the store, waste my time with a sales rep that has no clue and buy my things online I have spent tens of thousands of dollars at this store best thing going there is a tall blonde seamstress who ended up selling me the right pair of pants after the second time back to the store they even charged me the difference in price, 25$, after the mess up needless to say, again, the pants were less online
Bring back Frank
Very cute stuff but the times I have been to the perfume department recently the past month the workers have always been unfriendly and seemed miserable working there. It makes me wanna buy perfume elsewhere.
Went here the other day to check out some Topshop clothing. Found a couple of shirts i wanted to try on and when i went into the dressing room, the guy working it completely blew past me like i wasnt there. So i waited for a room to open and walked in, at which point he asked if i needed to try them on. No kidding, im not just hanging out in the fitting room.. I didnt even have time to button up the first shirt and he was already asking if the shirts were working out for me. I mustnt have been more than 30 seconds in there. Tried the shirts on, loved them and wanted to purchase them . I walked out and was going to look for a few more things and the same worker comes up and asks if he can take the shirts to put back. When i replied i was going to buy them he hurried me over to the counter to check me out, like i wasnt allowed to shop any further. Clearly this guy thought i was going to steal, which im assuming either had to do with the fact that I have a decent amount of tattoos, or because I wasnt dressed to his standards and he thought I mustnt be able to afford to shop here. Topshop is NOT expensive, pal. I wont be returning here, may as well just buy topshop clothes online to avoid being treated like a criminal.
Great women's lounge on the 2nd floor to nurse a baby! So awesome to come walk around the mall and be able to feed my baby
I recently went to Nordstrom for a suit for my wedding and pants for my groomsmen. I must say Hugo in the Men's department was AMAZING! Very professional, detail oriented and very personable. He knew all our sizes instantly and made the processes very enjoyable. They have done a good job at making the Men's department feel like an independent Men's store. I also like their texting feature! I plan to be back soon!
As a transplant from Los Angeles I have high expectations from Nordstrom. I shopped at The Grove location for years. The buy for that location is far more diverse with plenty of luxury brands represented. I've lived in Rhode Island for a year and have shopped at this location several times. The men's department is depressing. The buyers need to revamp men's entirely. Although the selection is limited I still shop there. But today's experience left me dumbfounded. I was being surveiled by the staff. I was hoping to exchange 2 pairs of pants I ordered from the online store. I tried many pairs on but nothing was working plus the selection again is rather limited. I am the type of shopper that doesn't need assistance. I know what I like and try it on. Yet I realized I was being watched. I went to an associate to process my return. Afterwards I went over to the shoe department and bought a pair of Cole Haan boots. It may have been my aloofness that alarmed Loss Prevention about me but regardless I was appalled. I was dressed very casually in jeans, t shirt, sneakers, cap and was carrying a tote bag. But casual in Prada SS17 sneakers, Prada tote and Prada cap. Tell your employees to never judge a customer on appearances.
So me and my friend were in Nordstrom looking around and walking.. we were actually going to buy some sport bras there, but we found this cool area to take pictures. It wasn't prohibited to go in it, it was just a wall area.. this rude worker came and kicked us out, we asked why and he said because he said so. He wasn't even a manager just a rude worker. Never going here again.
Too bad they don't list their cafe separately. My first time at a Nordstrom cafe. The food was good. A good break to mix up the dining choices after 2 weeks
Hugo in the men's department has a great eye and knows how to find a perfect combination. Be sure to ask for him.
