Had a good time. Got 4 inches of rain the day we went. Part of the haunted house was flooded they said and we had to exit. Could have gave us a free ticket for another day...other than that pleased
This is a great place to check out of your interested in haunted houses. They park features 5+ attractions, each with a unique theme, that can change from year to year. The Midway features snacks, drinks, music, film, as well as games, some of which can affect those going through certain attractions. The team behind this park does an excellent job creating terrifying and macabre environments to explore. Some other points of interest are the gift shop and the "creatures" that you can interact with as you explore the Midway.
Always have a good time. Love the many different options to choose from hayrides, haunted houses and mazes. Pricing is reasonable. Concessions are available if you need a snack. The monsters walking the Midway and old movies playing are a fun touch. Only thing I did not like and why I did not go with 5 stars... I was not a fan of the smoking allowed. It is not a very large open space to walk thru especially on busy nights. I wondered how they lit them without the banned lighter. Then I saw the staff lighting them. So I inhaled smoke standing in line, ugh. Second there are piles of dried out straw all over the place. Straw fire and crowds of people not a fun bonfire.
Love this park. We do several area Haunts and this is a favorite. You can easily spend 3-4 hours trying to do everything available, unlike the many smaller house that offer a 20 minute walk-through for your long drive. .....Niles is worth the road trip! These folks give money to charity and take exceptional care of their patron's safety. The attractions are stellar. LOVED Hooded this year!
Got turned away after 1/2 hr. going through the line. (Because of a small pocket knife). The prohibited items list should be given to the driver on entry. Save us a long walk through a dark field. Signs were blocked by crowd. Left and went to Apple Festival.
Well worth the money! A great experience all around. We come every year and always enjoy it.
Really awesome. All new . Even a new attraction that is really good. Don't go into that one if you get scared easily .
We've gone three times now over the course of a decade and it is by far one of my favorite haunted house attractions to go to. The cast are amazing, the atmosphere is well set both in and out of attractions, and there is plenty for all levels of horror fans to find something they can do. There is also areas to grab food and drinks, carnival style, and seating to rest and regroup. While it is a little pricy overall, the staff are volunteers and the money goes to local charities and scholarships to help the community. Definitely worth it! (You can typically find discount coupons too if you look, in case price is a deterrent).
It was great, but we got their early and they let us in the haunted house before the characters were even ready. Other then that it was great!
Such a great experience every year! Love this place!
If you have kids, they will have a lot of fun.
If you're over the age of about 18-20 it is only fun with a large group of friends.
Most of the attractions have very long wait times (understandable) and once you're finally inside people in front of you tend to go too slow and the people behind you go too fast so the only people being scared are the ones in front.
Kind of a waste of money because of that.
Only go on the hay ride if you have kids, or need a nap.
I love this place! The scream park has become an October tradition for my friends and I. I always want to go through the House a thousand times because of all the different routes. Of the 5 haunts, Field of Screams is the scariest and my favorite. The dark carnival that they make in the fairway is reason enough to visit.
My first ever haunted house. Had a ton of fun, supported charity, had some good screams (and laughs at my friends) and felt really safe the whole time, which was important.
