Mike Lekocaj did an AMAZING job for me. First, painless sales process at Nikos. I knew what I wanted and within 30 minutes on a Saturday, I paid for my flooring (no hidden fees that popped up later). Second, was told they'd contact me on Monday with a confirmation of my targeted installation date. On schedule that Monday, I was contacted, and made arrangements to having the flooring brought to me to acclimatize to my house in boxes for a week while I was on vac. The independent installer (Dado Remodeling) they lined up did a beautiful job installing my floors, but presented a different set of issues (dumpster overflow costing me $hundreds, cracked mirror on china cabinet, broken door opener, etc.) that I can't fault Nikos or Mike for. Third, Mike stayed in contact with me until after 9 pm when the installer didn't show as scheduled due to flat tire to bring the flooring. Since I was leaving on vacation, we moved to the next day, but I had to get someone to come to my house to receive the flooring. Fourth, Mike stayed in phone or text contact to make sure things were progressing as planned on delivery day. Mike then stayed in touch all during the 7 days of installation to ensure that I was happy. Amazing customer service from Mike and Nikos. Honestly the best experience I've had with a home remodeling project in 30 years, aside from the installer issues. My floors look GREAT. I give Niko's Imports & Exports and Mike my highest recommendation!!!

Cant seem to produce receipts when you need them, lost receipt for 4,000.00 order so couldn't get a refund ( they tell you they have a 30day return policy on unopened floor) Floor is junk all different widths not certified that its not from rain forest. Stay away from this company. Or your going to need a supeona to get a receipt from them.
Please also check to make sure that the floor you Buy has stairnose & threshold pieces available, they told us we could order them no problem and the company that makes the floor doesn't even carry them, because they dont exist. Buyer beware they are not customer advocates!!!!

I wish there was an option for No star!!

This is the second time we have been to Nikos for our wood and unfortunately I regret my decision of going back to him again. Now am not the type of person that I complain for no reason. Mike and Cole were more than helpful and their prices comparing to other retailers are fairly reasonable but there is a reason for that .. MATERIALS ARE NOT GOOD AT ALL! . Let me give you the back story so people are aware when purchasing hardwood flooring from this warehouse.

4 years ago we bought Tiger wood Solid hardwood flooring from Nikos for our old home. Now it was a small Job (600 sq. ft.) , it cost us about $3500 (we brought a contractor to put it in) . that hardwood scratched badly. anything and I mean anything that would fall on it , would make it scratch very bad. I had little kids at the time so I blamed myself for the scratched hardwood.
Few months ago, we purchased a bigger home. we wanted to do first and second floor (around 3000 sq. ft.) . we went back to Nikos. we dealt with both mike and Cole. We were looking for something better this time (or so we thought). Cole suggested we get the "Australian Eucalyptus". Cole went on and on about how sturdy this wood was and how durable it will be in the future. It was hand scraped and distressed which we were encouraged to buy because having kids, it is very easy to maintain (since it naturally is scratched) .. as Cole said : "Any scratch you buy a pen and you patch it . No problem".

Let me tell you. we spent $15,000 with Nikos and we are not a bit satisfied. Every time I mob this floor, I feel so sad. It is the worst product ever made. I wish I can post pictures of how terrible some wood pieces look. After 5 months, the wood gaps are horrible. Now they will start saying that's an installation problem, you did not leave it in the house enough, humidity problem blah blah , blah. we did all that and This house is NEW! .. There is a humidifier in the house. Moisture level are normal.

to top that, I wish it was only Gaps!!! but some wood panels are peeling. For goodness sake, PEELING!!! what kind of junk hardwood is this. Crap made in China and I do not know where. I specifically asked him that I do not want a product made in China (Like the tiger wood we had before in our old home - it said on the box) . Cole told me this was brought from Australia and processed in Canada (apparently) which I do not believe a bit.

So please, to whoever is buying hardwood, If you want something cheap (might look nice) but in the long run it will be bad, then go to Nikos. We thought we were getting a good deal . we went to so many Hardwood retailers and I wish I can go back in time and choose a different place to get the hardwood from. Now I regret spending all that money so much!! I wish I would have gone to other retailers and paid extra money but would have nice flooring and a little piece of mind.

Last, Cole asked us to send him pictures of the wood when it is done .. I did and I send him a friendly text of how bad quality the wood was and guess what? No answer of course. I was not looking for him to say oh, come return it. It is too late now but an acknowledgment of the issue would have been a bit appreciated. but anyways, will not EVER again ,even if he is the last store on earth, go to him ever again.

My husband and I are currently updating our 25 year old home. We contracted Nikos import/export to install our hardwood floors in the foyer, half bath, living room and dining room. My husband and I are currently in Az for the winter. The owner Mike recommended that I have the job done while we were away. I was a little unsure of leaving my house and having major work done without me being there. However, I took his advice and Mike coordinated the entire job and I am completely satisfied with the outcome. Everyone who has come in to see the house wants their house redone. I would highly recommend Nikos import/export to decorate your home. The wood floor I choose is absolutely gorgeous.
