Hello. I’m Nigel Watts, and I’m passionate about creating images. Art and design are in my DNA and have been all my life. Photography is my expression of that creativity. I love to photograph a wide variety of subjects; the natural world, the man-made world, and the diversity of the people and their lives who populate it.

Our world is always in motion. Even in apparent stillness there is movement. Movement represents the passage of time and is a constant reminder that our lives are ever-changing; never still. My photography does not merely capture a moment; rather shares the feeling of time passing by.

I have a particular love of watercolor landscape art. I love the feeling of abstraction and drama that the watercolor medium can convey. The translucency of pigment and how it flows across the paper and interacts with itself, is for me, the essence of the art form--and is the essence of what I strive to emulate in my landscape photography.
