  Interesting information center with an attached genealogy room for Boone County. Nice place for a casual stroll. Period homes and store on site.

  The playground equipment gets insanely hot in the summer because there is no shade, but it's a cute park with nice equipment and good variety.

  Great park. When the Historical Society building is open there are bathrooms. You can walk through the whole park past the barn and historical buildings. The outer trails however have not been maintained and are too overgrown to travel on.

  Fun in the spring or summer when the animals are there to check out:) also an amazing pokémon nest if you play pokémon go;)

  My children and grandchildren have enjoyed the lake,Heritage festival every year since 1986. Playground big +.

  Don't visit this park often but always take my family to the heritage festival which uses this park. It's a great space with historical buildings.
