  Terrible. The surveyor came out to my very straightforward, 50yo subdivision home and the back property line was drawn close to FIVE feet in error showing my fence encroaching on my neighbors property. I called them, the surveyor returned and apologized profusely acknowledging his error. A week passes and I have to call them for an updated drawing. Twice they send me the old incorrect survey, plus they generate an additional $300 bill for their second trip to correct their initial error. I have to make multiple phone calls and finally tell the guy to pull up the drawing on his computer, and walk him through what the issue is. That afternoon, I get a revised, corrected survey WITH the $300 bill still attached. I’m not an unreasonable person, however if you make an error, at least get it corrected without compounding the problem. If this is the way this company conducts business, how can their final work product be trusted? How can a survey company get such poor reviews? Beware

  NexGen did the survey to one of our properties and neglected to take the elevation readings, forcing them to arrange a 2nd visit just to take the elevation numbers. 2nd visit was done on a Friday and on Tuesday of the following week the elevation certificate hadn't been provided. On Friday; when they call me to arrange the 2nd visit, I explained to them importance of getting the certificate as soon as possible so that to prevent any closing delays. 4 days later. (Tuesday 5pm), I receive a text from the title company letting me know that a closing extension may be necessary because they haven't received the elevation certificate. What is very frustrating is Not the fact that an error was made, but the lack of urgency on the matter.

  Needed to pick up a copy of a 2-year-old survey for a new driveway permit application. People that answered the phone were terrific and said as soon as I walked in the door they would print me off a few certified copies. I even got 11x17. Email on my printer is never the same as their crisp professional grade stuff. Very accommodating and much appreciated!
