Catching a train at 3 am coming and going is really tough. But the gentleman working the shift is so awesome. Give that man a raise. He made sure we got to where we were going and answered questions. Very polite. Very happy.

Our train was very late, but the lady (Michelle)working there made our experience Great! She even offered to drive her own car to go get us food. People like that makes bad situations not so BAD! The Bus driver ( Tom) that dropped us off at the station was Awesome As Well!

The man that works here is so nice and knows exactly what there’s needed to know about delays and such. Much respect for people like him who have to work late. It was overall clean and your basic station with tired faces waiting for the 3am train

Need more seating! In the waiting area The bathrooms are some what clean! They probably should have a loud speaker to announce delays and some information about the train and other issues. I know you can look on your Amtrak app but it doesn’t actually say the train has arrived. Some ppl fall asleep and don’t realize the train is at the station!( it’s 3am I’m sorry I had to close my eyes for 5mins) 😂 oh and I totally forgot that they OVER BOOKED the train so my kids had to sit in the viewing car for about 40 mins, which they were fine with it because it was their first train ride, I would have thrown a fit if it ended up being longer than 40 mins! 😤

I have departed from this station at least 5-7 times since it became Amtrak. Once it was westbound to Winslow, AZ and the rest of the times to Topeka, KS (closest destination) and the furthest was to Elkhart, IN. The only drawback is that all of the trains leave between 3:30 and 5:15 a.m. It would be nice to have some departures in the daytime. Hopefully there will be a southbouch destination in the next several years (2016 and beyond.) It is great to see this older station still in service and well maintained.

love leaving from here, limited parking, kind services and helpful on direction, the only thing that have train leaves at 3 am and NOT many choices of other times
