Easy access by bike- park right out front. No bikes or dogs in the park- which makes sense. They have ping pong, beach chairs, a sandy beach area and full park for all size kids, plus water park.

Another thing on the meters: when your time is up, you can't refill the meter without first leaving the parking spot and re-parking. Nuts.

Two gripes in the first two minutes instep foot in jersey city Parking meters are rigged , you can't add more time - just takes the money. Supposedly you can park up to one hour, I got 52 mins!?!

Make sure you $ for the token machine is completely flat - no folds. The machine is quite temperamental. Oh, it only takes bills no change.

Dogs are only allowed outside the gates in the boardwalk area, but NOT inside the park itself.
