I'm a football athlete My math grade all my life lived in between failing and a C ever since newnan high i can keep my grade at a B and that means a lot so not only is newnan dedicated to sports but also my education i don't feel rushed but they just the right amount of time for me to learn what i am supposed to and at times i have time for more. Newnan High Football is the best family iv'e had all my life i'd hate to be at any high school except this one.AWESOME SCHOOL.

Awesome school! Very dedicated to the education of not only the students, but the community as well.
-B4 we moved 2 Coweta Co, my child has a hard time keeping her grades up (rarely above C+). Since she has attended this school, she not only holds her grades well above B+, but she also had PERFECT ATTENDANCE last year! THAT SAYS GR8 THINGS ABOUT NEWNAN HIGH SCHOOL AND THE TEACHERS/STAFF!
WAY 2 GO NHS!! U ROCK!!!😘

I go to this school currently and i would have to say i agree somewhat with what Sarah was saying. It is very easy to get overlooked in a school this size.

When my son entered this school he was an A/B student in his first year. He was also a very good athlete with a hopeful potential at a scholarship. Through ongoing administrative bullying and disfavor from teacher gossip and retaliations he lost out of this great love, and was told on the first day of his senior year to go home. That THEY did not want him there. That he wasn't going to graduate on time so why bother. He called me from the school campus and I drove over and waited three hours in the hall lobby waiting for someone to come. It was true he had 12 credits to complete all due to the lack of proper administrative guidance and purposefully letting him fall into the cracks. We fought like crazy all four years to defend his rights, but it came down to their party talk defense against our rational concern for a school system that fails many of its kids. Needless to say, I dis-enrolled him from Newnan high school and enrolled him in an online school where he completed his graduation requirements before graduation while he held down a full time job. This school is only interested in notoriety for it's sports programs and the status it can gain from the 1% that graduates with honors and goes on to have opportunities open up before them in the professional work and sports world.
