Great atmosphere. Great performance. Food was good. Seating accommodations leave something to be desired. Table space is cramped to say the least.
Getting up from your table has to be planned while others in your row are getting seconds or going to the bathroom. That's not fun. It takes a little something away from the positive experience.report this review -

Great experience with excellent actors. Always great selection of food and something for everyone. The wait staff are very welcoming and friendly. I would like to go more often.

The dinners are always excellent. The staff is great, and always ready to accommodate to special needs (but call and let them know in advance). The shows are well produced and always fun.

Miss Daisy was a wonderful performance. It was my first time attending this venue. The food was fantastic, and the service was phenomenal. When Tony, our waiter, found out we were celebrating my birthday he surprised me with a huge birthday card signed by all the actors. Michael Learned has been one of my favorite female actresses since I was a kid. I'll definitely be back to attend another event.

We've been season ticket holders for over twenty years and enjoyed many great performances but none better than tonight's Million Dollar Quartet. Every person on that stage was a star! We wanted the show to go on and on and were so disappointed it went so quickly. Never a dull moment. We felt we were in the presence of the "greats" every minute of the performance. Thanks for bringing them to KC. Couldn't wait to get home and send our kudos!

We saw The Million Dollar Quartet. (That is the title of the musicalnot the name of the group.) Is was amazing! The food is served from a buffet (actually, 8 identical buffets,) but it is a quick line out of sight on each side of the room. The food was delicious, and dessert was served at the table during intermission. Well worth the price of a ticket!

Pro: Amazing Show! Saw the Million Dollar Quartet. Worth it for them. Staff are lovely and seating is good anywhere.
Con: The review is for the food you get for a $55 ticket which doesn't include drinks or dessert. Airplane food meets what you might cook on a Wednesday night with better ingredients. The cheese on the baked macaroni taste like plastic Walmart brand cheese. Mashed potatoes were instant.report this review -

I had fun and the food was definitely good. I was just not overly impressed with how it felt like a cafeteria and sending in the cows for the food trough. For a newbie, there's no indicators of where to go, where to be, or anything. The neighboring table left mid show muttering something about their seats.

We have been season members for many years and I can say without any doubts that New Theatre is the place to find excellent entertain, food, and service. Over the years we have been able to get a table closer to the center and more up front, but with the popularity of this place this takes time. We are really fortunate to have New Theatre in the Kansas City Metro.

For so many years, New Theatre has been my family's favorite place to go, for dinner and a show. There's nothing else like it in this area. The dinner selection changes from one show to the next, offering a gourmet buffet that never fails to please. You can order drinks and desserts from the friendly staff. Then the entertainment begins! This beautiful theatre runs a selection of comedies, musicals, etc., always with a brilliant cast that includes a guest star. I have so many wonderful memories of evenings spent at New Theatre with my husband, and our children- now 15 and 20. It's an event! Get dressed up and have an amazing meal and enjoy a quality show on stage, for a very reasonable price. If you've never been, treat yourself. I went today with my daughter and parents, and as always had such a great time, excellent food, and a show that made us laugh, cheer and even tear up at the end. Thank you, New Theatre you're the best!!

“Excellent Breakfast”
I wish we had a First Watch in Atlanta or better yet Alpharetta. The breakfast menu is extensive without being overwhelming. I had the triple play: eggs, bacon and a Belgian waffle. It was a perfect combination. My server was efficient and kept up with me regularly. Well done!report this review -

Great, great place!!!! Nice theatre, with neat electronic screens all over that added to the ambiance. I have been here MANY times, and it is always consistent and a good time.
