It's sad to read rave reviews for a Mall that is in such decline with one small anchor store and little else. The Kohl's is not a full size store, missing most brands carried by a standard size store and prices are higher than in the nearest location in Roanoke. The Belk is a lovely, yet very small store too but well stocked for it's little size. Consumers in the area should demand better quality and larger selection, but don't. It's a mystery. Take the short drive to Roanoke for larger stores, greater selection and lower prices.

Wonderful place for a day of shopping. I always enjoy the experience at this mall. There are plenty of restaurants and small shops to explore. Theres also many entry and exit points.

The mall has really gone downhill in the last few years. There's a ton of vacant stores, and the ones that are there are not super unique or interesting. Naturally I have my staples that I go to, but I just wish they'd do more to try to encourage businesses to fill the stalls.

A nice sized, clean mall with many stores to choose from. Unfortunately JC Penney has recently left and the food court is down to one restaurant, but it's still as good a place as any to visit and shop around. Regal Cinemas sharing the same parking lot also boosts foot traffic between movie showings.

A nice indoor shopping mall. Stores are changing hands occasionally and food court here has good options. More restaurants more stores and a movie theater and bowling/amusement center are all nearby, most within walking distance. Huckleberry trail runs alongside this place.

This place is a ghost town. Literally nothing there. Stores are going out of business. The stores that are left still have outrageous prices. Boring mall.

For a mall it is a very nice place and would give it like five star for the facility but in general I just don't like Mall's because it's so expensive and the reason why they're so expensive is because they have a lot of overhead The overhead includes a lot of electric lights, a lot of buildings structure, a lot of maintenance on the building and so on and so on and it guess who's paying for all a structure? Also, in addition to facilities and all the security guards and all that support stuff guess who's paying for all that ?
So if you like shopping malls and wasting your money due to higher prices on everything, have at it!response / report this review -

Sad JC penny closing. You must get the managements act together or it will become a ghost town like across the street. We all hire from the same gene pool.
So Its not that you can't get good people.

This is a good location and has done good stores but some of anchor stores have left ad well as some of the smaller shops and food court is dwindling. Management seems unconcerned. There is a Khols, Bell & Dick's sporting goods. Bath & Body works, Victoria's Secret are some that come to mind. Still a good place to go if you do not want to fight crowds.

The mall is very small and has only a few places to eat. With that out of the way, it is very clean and has a beautiful area to sit and people watch. We visited on a Saturday afternoon and it was quiet and not crowded; so if you want a quiet place to walk around or just relax this is the place for you.

I love the coffee shop here; 5 stars for the New River Coffee Company! The rest of the mall does not have many options, the food court is not very good, and the blaring music is not restful. If you go there, go to the coffee shop and the phone repair place!

Hey this is a very small regional mall. Considering that the town is most likely active during university this will have to do. The good thing is price are align with the student reality.

Seems to be the only shopping mall around. A good shopping experience though, but very dead, although perhaps weekends would be more popular. Perhaps a few more stores could bring in more shoppers
