I was pleasantly surprised at how amazing this museum was! Not only was it HUGE with three giant floors, but the many exhibits were varied and expansive. There were artifacts from all around the world and tons of paintings in different styles from a variety of artists. They even had a “Louisiana” room which was so cool to see!

Amazing museum! It has a simple layout, but it easily guides you through various cultures and eras. I was able to see their "Queen Nefertari's Egypt" special exhibit. As someone who saw the queen's tomb in Egypt, they did an wonderful job replicating it and giving homage to the queen.

Also, their small cafe as some delicious options. Definitely worth the stop in NOLA.

Lots of mixed media exhibits so something for everyone. The planes are wonderful to see and to be able to view the insides using IT makes you wonder how tiny the crew had to be? The 4D film has great content but lacking a great 4 D experience for me.

Lovely museum. Great cafe and food. I came here to check the Chinese art on the third floor today, according to the map of the museum. However, I did not find any, which is rather disappointing. Can anyone explain to me why there is no Chinese art even the museum map shows there is? Thanks!

This collection feels intimate and warm. There are works by great artists—Picasso, Georgia O’Keefe—and works by smaller, lesser-known artists. The art is arranged well and has good information posted alongside it. Also, a wonderful collection of furniture! I particularly enjoyed the installation of family videos—truly a joy to experience!
