  Dr. Smith was well spoken and articulate about her specialty and overall conducted an impressive appointment. We discussed my medical history extensively. She made her recommendation only after listening and discussing my many health issues to ensure that there wasn't a correlation. She explained my migraines and how they work in the brain as well as explained how the specific medication would be effecting the serotonin in my brain to stop the migraine. Her use of illustrations was particularly helpful. Her approach is stern and no nonsense, but I felt confident and comfortable in her care, which has not always been the case with new specialists or healthcare providers.

  Was very impressed with the time she took to learn in detail all that my Mom had been through. She was very compassionate and made us feel very welcome. We learned more from Dr. Smith than we have from several other doctors in the past 6 months! Very pleased with the whole experience,

  Second visit to Dr Smith, and I was very impressed again, just like with my first visit. She is very knowledgeable, patient and kind. Makes you feel very comfortable, knowing that you are in good hands. Don't make you rush, spend as much time with you as you need. Answer all the questions you have. You leave her office felling already better.

  Just like every other time I have had an appointment with Dr. Smith, I was impressed with her knowledge of MS and how to approach a problem. She always gives me the feeling that she's on my side. She is thorough and addresses the issue without being too rushed or brusque. She wants to listen to my ideas. I feel very fortunate to have Dr. Smith as my neurologist.

  Dr Stanya Smith is the best doctor I see. She is very caring and compassionate with the care of her patients. She has extremely the best knowledge on MS and knows how to treat each of patients individually and not as a whole. Her nursing staff also treats the patients in the same manner. I would recommend her to anyone and I have. I could never go see another physician she has made me feel very comfortable in knowing that she addresses my needs immediately and she knows exactly what I am going through. It is not easy having MS and all the changes in life I have had to go through, but Dr. Smith and her staff have helped me in many many ways.. I thank them all over and over again.
