The Network and Application Modeler is a simple unified architectural integration and execution system (ARIES) that provides an approach to software that makes use of automation to design, build, deploy, test and maintain software-defined networks and applications.Users and teams may use Eclipse and/or the online portal called http://nam.systems to coordinate as they compose and maintain organizations of custom networks and applications, and sets of deployments and tests, for execution in a variety of distributed environments.Networks refer to organized groups of Docker containers, and may consist of Application services and associated resources, along with sets of servers to provide those resources. A simple Network may provide a distributed organization of services that can be geographically distributed to best handle different usage patterns for different areas. For example we may care very much about users in certain areas. Our little network may be designed accordingly by deploying local, scalable sets of servers for each area.Applications refer to groups of services with secure access to their resources.
