Nero's Grille is a family restaurant that serves traditional American cuisine. I had some good soft shell crabs over pasta. My wife had some nice fish and the kids had chicken strips. All were good, but nothing imaginative. The restaurant was very helpful and careful in regards to my son's peanut allergy, which was much appreciated. I liked this place, but it was a bit expensive for a standard traditional meal.

Neros is always packed, and you pretty much need a reservation every night of the week. The vibe is kind of old school traditional steakhouse (some may say stuffy) with lots of pasta and fish options. My favorite is to order lots of apps to split. Everything is excellent. The Korean beef latkes are a fave as well as the bar pie. Shrimp cocktail was excellent. Pasta/meat entrees are also wonderful. Cocktails are tasty and interesting. He carrot cake is ridiculous and can be shared by the whole table. I like it a lot more than I thought I would -- probably the best food in town. Not exactly cheap but worth it for the quality.

happy hour offers great drinks and small plates. and has a lively crowd the staff is personable and accommodating . Reservations are highly recommended

Absolutely get the octopus appetizer. Come on Friday and get their short ribs special, it's phenomenal. Only downside is the bar isn't great if you want cocktails, stick to beer and wine.
