Mr. Cahn is a past revision author of Matthew Bender’s New York Civil Practice, Matrimonial Actions. He has served on the Hofstra Law School Adjunct Factulty, and written and lectured for the State University of New York, various bar associations and professional organizations, as well as other lay groups.

Mr. Cahn has served as a court-appointed arbitrator for the United States District Court. He is a former member of the Nassau County Supreme Court Matrimonial Neutral Evaluation Panel.

Mr. Cahn is a member of the Family Law Committees of the American, State, and County Bar Associations; the Collaborative Law Committee of the Dispute Resolution section of the State Bar Association, and the Commercial Litigation Committee of the Nassau County Bar Association. He is a member of the New York Family Law American Inn of Court.
