On October 13th, the world's greatest Navy turned 244 years old!!! NOSC WDC celebrated with a cake cutting ceremony.
🛑 Please Be Advised 🛑 NOSC Washington is now secured for the day due to building repairs. All staff are currently teleworking until 1630 today and we will reopen for business tomorrow 10 OCT 19 at 0730. Please utilize departmental distro’s to communicate if necessary and utilize after hours POC for all emergent issues.
NOSC WDC says “Fair Winds and Following Seas” to YN2 Alberto and YN2 Burroughs. BZ on a successful tour and good luck to both of you! Additionally, CONGRATULATIONS to LS3 Burton for being meritoriously advanced to PO2!
Due to a number of facility issues at the NOSC, we are in the process of re-locating the RESPAY/Manpower department in the interim, as the space is not inhabitable. We will relocate RESPAY/Manpower personnel to the computer lab on the 2nd deck, but we currently cannot relocate the phones in the short term. Please plan accordingly. RESPAY/Manpower will be monitoring the functional email so that will be the best way to contact them. Once we have any new updates or way ahead, we... will let you know.
