Great ballpark in DC! They have really built up the area around the park so there’s plenty of fun, local places to eat and drink before or after the game. The bullpen is also open with every home game and is a fun place to grab drinks before going into the stadium. It’s easily accessible by metro. The navy yard metro is insane though before and after games, and the ride share line is crazy long, so prepare yourself.
The ballpark doesn’t allow re-entry so be aware of that if you leave to meet someone.

Nationals Park is a great stadium. It's right on the Anacostia River and is transforming the Navy Yard neighborhood. It's brought hotels and restaurants to this part of town. It's also Metro accessible. The moment you exit the Metro above ground, you'll see the bright lights of the stadium drawing you in. Here are other reasons to love the stadium:
-It's big, but it doesn't overwhelm or swallow you up. It's easy to navigate.
-There are plenty of seats, which means you often can find cheaper tickets.
-The food game is strong. They have casual food from some of DC's restaurant legends and the $1 hot dog stand can't be beat either!
-There are plenty of staff to get you beer, water, etc. if you want!
-They do a lot of fun giveaways through the baseball season and other in stadium and outside stadium events.
If you live in the area, you must visit at least once for the full DC experience.response / report this review -

Had my first visit to this ballpark this year. Unfortunately the weather was poor but the experience was still great. The ushers were very friendly & accommodating and there were excellent food & beverage choices. Great sightlines and from certain areas you can see the Capitol building dome in the distance. The surrounding area is developing very quickly so in a couple years the neighborhood will be even more vibrant. Will be sure to return soon!

Although I am an unabashed Nationals fan, I can say without being partial that Nationals Park is one of the better baseball venues. It's attractive, has good sight lines in all the seats, and has a beautiful perspective as you walk in the main (center field) gate. It's clean and has good food choices. You are allowed to bring your own water bottles into the park. At the time it was built (2008), the scoreboard was the biggest and best in the land. And most of the time, you see quality baseball being played.

Nationals Baseball Park is easily accessible by metro via the Green Line. It is a very clean and safe baseball stadium.
The local fans are very friendly (even if you are an annoying fan of the rival team) and many will help make sure you get on the correct metro car when going to a game. The neighborhood, Navy Yard, now has a better selection of bars and restaurants near the park, with new storefronts opening all the time.
The park has a great craft beer options and a wide variety of food choices including gluten free. There is a restaurant with seating facing the outfield. If you bought nosebleed tickets, ordering food in the restaurant and sitting in outfield to eat is a great option with a much better view of the game.response / report this review -

I'm a long-time ticket plan holder. Pros: Very nice sight lines onto the field from everywhere in the park including concessions and walkways which is great when you're moving around, TV and big screen monitors all around, generally polite and helpful staff, many food and drink selections. Cons: Extortionate parking rates in park deck and both close-in and more distant lots, very expensive concessions, a very functional but not a particularly warm and fuzzy park design. I give it a strong B+.

I love the stadium, my family has a good time. Sure I always get the least expensive seats I can find but that's so we can spend more on Nationals tee shirts and caps. The food is good, in decent size portions, but like with any sports venue, a bit pricey. The employees are always very courteous and helpful. My only complaint is the vendors run out of food too early which, if the game runs long or runs into extra innings, is costing them a lot of sales. I got the last hot dog at one stand and my wife couldn't find a cup of coffee anywhere, and this was about the 7th inning. Otherwise we had great time, it's just too bad the Nationals lost.

This place is awesome! Great historical site rich in tradition. Awesome tour site for the family. Great facilities and customer service. Even if your not a baseball fan trying to watch a game. The tour here is awesome. If you are a fan Tickets are pretty cheap and the view anywhere in the park is pretty awesome. Sky seats don't even need binoculars.

Very nice park. Easy to move around even when near capacity. Glad there were low calorie options, though we had to hunt for them. Some decent beer options.

Best baseball park in the entire USA, and it happens to be home to the best baseball team in the major leagues. Nationals Park is architecturally beautiful, with nary a bad seat in the park. But the very best thing about Nationals Park is the staff who work the the ball games. I my many experiences going to Nats games, I have never met a single staff member, in any service or security position, who wasn't super friendly, great at what they do, & helpful in any way that they could be.

The park is amazing, the level of service is amazing but having stuff spread out is odd. Say you want a hot dog. Cool. You know where you want it from. Also cool. But there are three of those places in the park and not all of them have the same hot dogs. So, you have to find the place you want and make sure they have what you want. Food aside. I loved the park. It's easy to navigate, it's insanely well kept and watching a game here was a lot of fun. Easily one of my top 5 parks behind wriggle and fenway.

Nationals Park has a lot going for it. Taking the water taxi from Old Town is a great way to experience a little more of the city and surrounds on the visit. Skip the traffic and enjoy a good meal in Old Town prior to the game if you're coming from the Virginia side. Most of the seats in the stadium are good enough to see the game and being a newer stadium the overall experience is enjoyable. Still feels like DC, seemingly higher level of security along with unsurprising high prices in the stadium. If you decide to park in the garage near the stadium expect dogs and the mirror under the car.

Family-friendly ballpark with tons of great views from the concourse and grandstands. Lots of very courteous staff. Love the fact that, at the time of this review, patrons are permitted to carry in one unopened bottle of water and clear snack bags of food. Definitely helps combat the inflated food/drink prices inside the stadium.
