I went there to get a copy of my driving record. I got a number beginning with A waited 2 hrs and the had still not called my number and during this time only called numbers beginning with B

3 hour wait times to be had here maybe my own fault for showing up at 11 a.m. on a Monday, but anytime you have wait times that long, something needs to be done to fix that.
My advice, head to any other office or branch of the DMV. This is the slowest and worst staffed office in the state. Manchester, Concord, Salem, and Epping are much faster.response / report this review -

Best be there when they open! My own fault I went near 11am. I had people arriving after me and leaving before me! Someone else complained and the staff said "if more people have a "B" ticket they attend to them accordingly then the "A" ticket. First come, first serve or the order in which you arrive is no where in sight here. Something about when you do the same thing everyday and you still can get it right, maybe you should make some changes to better accommodate the city that you work for!

EVERYONE'S USELESS! I go in to get my license back because the Amherst police told me, quote, "go to the dmv and they'll have you do what you need to do". So the lady at the front counter gives me a number and has me wait for THREE HOURS. What she doesn't tell me, I can't even get my license back! I need to go to CONCORD! I'm late to work and I still can't drive. SCREW the DMV and SCREW BUREAUCRACY

I have been to this registry five times over the past three weeks, three times just today, to get my license transferred from MA to NH. Each time, I was told conflicting things that I needed to have in order to get a new "real ID" that is compliant. I even went to the bank to get something notarized and brought it back only for another woman who works there to say that her colleague was wrong. My mom was with me the 4th and 5th time and was also not able to get the real ID. We were told to come back in 60 days when our non-compliant IDs come in the mail to again, sit and wait for an hour to get those IDs. I was very unhappy with my experience and feel the people who work here should all be on the same page about documentation needed to get a license. I honestly felt like I was being Punk'd.

If you're looking for a place to get screwed over you've come to the right place. If by chance you have to reschedule an appointment it is best to go in person and not over the phone. Cause if you do they'll say it's all set but it won't be. Waited in line for twenty or so minutes in a muggy jack packed line only to find out that I wasn't even on the driving test list. But the interior decorating is just fabulous, it at least has that going for it.
