Nice indoor range. The range only uses lead free / frangible ammo. Nice store, good prices. The staff is very helpful.
I bought my revolver over 25 yrs ago, but things have changed and I need to make some adjustments to regain my accuracy. Trouble is what to adjust? The owner of the shop, Jamie, suggested I take a shooting lesson and sort things out. Wowie! I have fallen into some bad habits, while trying to compensate for my less than clear eyesight and a hand tremor. Did I mention that my hands are far more stiff now too. How messy. But Jamie’s got the answers and some easy easy adjustments for me to make. At the range this year, my disappointment had been growing since I wasn’t shooting like I used to in the past.
I plan to take another lesson and then continue practicing the adjustments made. I could see my improvement on the target already in Lesson 1. Thanks again Jamie for your help and encouragement, see you again soon.
Naples Gun Range & Emporium was a good place to go for me and my wife's first visit to a gun range in S/W Florida. We went there to receive Concealed Weapon License Application training from Sara Ryan, a Certified NRA Instructor. We were impressed by the management and very attentive and professional staff. The ranges are clean and lead free and the Emporium has a wide selection of guns for sale or rental. We will return and highly recommend range for training or target practice fun. Also recommend Sara Ryan for expert training and instructions.
Very enjoyable. Training was very helpful especially to my wife who has never held a weapon before. Safety rules were stressed repeatedly. We were not rushed through our one on one training and was assuring to us to not pick bad habits. Looking forward to our CCW training.
Went for a CCW class and learned so much! The instructor Jamie was fantastic; thorough and non intimidating to a first time shooter! Would highly recommend.
These people are very safety conscious and I enjoyed my visit. My wife was scared initially but ended up having fun, in no small part because of the amazing staff.
As it was out first time, we first had to watch a basic gun safety video. Then, the range supervisor patiently explains everything you need to know one-on-one with each of the guns you have chosen and answers every question you might have. You are not rushed at all in this process whatsoever, and they make sure you are comfortable before they attend to anyone else.
While you wait (arguably the only drawback of this level of service is that you have to wait for them to finish with the customer before you), they give you free use of their simulation room, where you can shoot in many scenarios, from glass bottles to carnival rubber ducks to zombies, on a screen ('duck hunter' style if you grew up with Nintendo). As a result, even their waiting room is fun!
I personally tried the AR-15 and a selection of handguns. If you have never shot an AR-15 before, it is an exhilarating experience to be had.
My wife and I are not 'gun nuts'. We are, generally speaking, regular gun-fearing Canadians. I have shot firearms 4 times in my life and this was her first. Yet the experience we had at this range was amazing. Keep up the good work guys!
Excellent range! The Range Instructor was friendly and incredibly helpful. He made great suggestions on different weapons to try and gave a thorough explanation of how each one worked. We had wonderful time, felt completely safe the whole time, and look forward to returning soon! Thank you guys!
We were visiting with our family (2 boys 15 &17, first time shooters) and we received a warm welcome and good instructions. It was really fun to shoot here. Raul did really a great job. The boys shot with 3 handguns and an AR, different calibers. Great experience overall!
Bought as told, an FDE model glock 19 gen 4, paid $675 for it and came back as instructed after the 3 days waiting period only to find out the background check was never even ran, one of the guys in charge that originally helped with the sale was there and heard me speaking of my disappointment and next thing I know he disappeared, I waited an additional 4 days before taking possession and trying it out at the range, after the 5 th time at the range noticed the paint begin to chip, not cerakoted but spay painted, a spray painted glock for $675, well they got me good I guess
Update 06/12/2017
I received a call today from Jamie the owner. We spoke of reasons why cerakote would chip, poor preparation or dirty hands while working on it. He offered to re cerakote my weapon free of charge, I declined since going a different way but nice to know they stand behind what they sell. I would say I was incorrect in assuming it was spray painted and maybe should have researched before posting. I did however wait 10 days after paying in full for my weapon before taking possession but did receive a sincere apology so water under the bridge in my book, I would recommend Naples Gun and Range Emporium. Thank you for the pleasant conversation.
Had lots of fun with my friends. Recommended for tourists :)
My review is honest & was not coerced, asked for or Paid for etc.
I had been in the market looking for an affordable Glock 19 Gen 4. I went everywhere around town & they had the 2nd best price, which was the best price until I stumbled upon one last place!
I used their range today for the first time! It had been a pretty long time since I had been shooting & I was nervous using a new range with new staff & such.
"A" took care of me quite well & I appreciate how professional she treated me! I know how to shoot & I know safety. But it's always good to have a refresher every now & then. She showed & told me quite a bit about my new firearm & gave me grip & firing tips which where helpful!
All and all a very nice morning shooting! A bit more money than shooting at outdoor ranges, but very close to home & convenient! I am now considering a membership!
Hey at least you can give them a try! I always shop around & settled on Naples Gun Range & Emporium because of the friendly staff that do not make you feel uncomfortable for just looking around & feeling different firearms!
They have serious classes available as well, I will be joining their CCW Class soon! Kik
I will never go back to this gun range. Never. There are other equally as good ranges in the greater Naples area, that don't choose to waste your time with way over paranoid safety instruction and forcing you to actually watch a safety film.before you can simply walk in to the rangeand use it.
The mystery for me is this: I am a very young 66 years old. My wife and I own a very large wedding business that caters to people from all over the world. We clearly understand the importance of customer satisfaction.as opposed to customer.aggravation. The first thing that you are required to do is to sign.a WAIVER.OF LIABILITY. That means.that if you shoot yourself in the foot, shoot your leg off by accident.whatever..IT'S ON YOU..NOT THE RANGE OWNERS. That's what the WAIVER says.
SOMEONE needs to explain that.to one of the owners of this range.the wife. (It's a husband and wife team). She is obsessed with liability, and really shouldn't be working in a GUN range situation. We were expected to waste a full hour and a half..going through little safety drills and how to hold a rental gun, AND to watch a 10 minute film about gun range safety.before we could even enter the range! (FYI: THAT DOES NOT happen ANYWHERE ELSE. JUST HERE). They even tried to charge us $10 each..to watch the film! I am serious. I walked out. Going there was a birthday gift for my 40 year old stepson. He wanted to fire some different 9mm . semi automatics to see which one he may want to buy for himself.
Needless to say.THAT didn't happen either.
Do yourself a favor. DON'T Bother going to this place. It's ridiculous.
Go to ANY OTHER RANGE in the Naples area, where they will treat you like you have a brain. (Especially if they know that you actually OWN your own
guns!)
I am very sorry folks, but if you want to pick up a ton of new business for Naples Gun range and emporium..
send Annabelle , one of your owners , to go and run the range.at the ALAMO instead .
She.will single handedly drive their clients out of there and to other gun ranges with the safety paranoia. Sorry. But that's the truth.
PS: I receive emails from Naples Gun range and emporium all the time on my phone and computer..but they "couldn't find me in their database?
Yet they found my stepson.who is from Massachusetts.and has only been there to shoot at the range.once? I.live here!
I had to fill out another entire WAIVER ???
NEVER, NEVER again. Go where you are welcome.and they treat
you like a GUN OWNER.
Its been a while since I have shot a gun but they were all great. Anabel made me feel so comfortable being a female. Jamie's class was informative and interesting. Great experience overall and I can't wait to go back! Thanks guys :)
