I am very disappointed with the customer service. I am a beginner quilter so I have a lot of questions. I purchased the Trim The Tree Paper Piecing Patterns and Buttons Kit as it stated in the Fall Catalog. When I received my order....by the way it took a long time to receive, but I only received part of my order. The advertisement said "Kit includes 10 cuts of 100% cotton fabric, paper patterns and buttons". I was missing the fabric so I called Customer Service and Judy was not very helpful at all!! I would give her a 1 for customer service, only because she answered the phone in a timely manner. Judy basically told me that it was a printing mistake in the catalog. How was I suppose to know that? This would be my first paper piecing project ever. I also work in customer service and generally when they advertise something (mistake or not) they should stand behind it. The only help Judy could give me was to go down to the nearest JoAnn Fabric Store and pick up the required material. Lovely. I would have never ordered the kit if it didn't include the fabric. I was expecting the entire kit just as their catalog stated.
Great selection and good prices. If something is in the catalog but not the store, they will go get it for you and you still pay the sale price
Won't order again from this company!!!!!! I placed an order on July 9 and the company didn't ship until July 14. Today is July 28 and no package. The tracking information sent says my package arrived up the road 30 miles 6 days ago. I have since found out they ship using Fedex Smartpost which is not really Fedex. Nancy's notions says I should allow one to two weeks for the shipment to arrive from the date they ship. That means I should not contact them until tomorrow. It takes three weeks for a package to get to me. Today I received a package I ordered on July 25 from another sewing vendor. Don't waste your time and money ordering online. Maybe buy in the store but not a good online seller. They don't disclose that they use this Smartpost for shipments anywhere in their shipping information - they should!!!!!!!
Placed an order in April. Most of it arrived in a fairly timely manner. The remaining items have not arrived as of today (June 15, 2017). I emailed and they responded that my items would be shipped later in July. There was no notification that my items are back ordered. If I'd known that the items were out of stock, I would have ordered them somewhere else. Very unprofessional, unhelpful and disappointing service.
Great store, great staff, great prices. The customer service is amazing. The store is connected to their warehouse, so anything that is in the catalog is available at the store.
I placed an order 2/27 with Nancy's & a different company. The things from the other company arrived within a week. I sent a text to NN the following week, no response. I called week 3 & was told my order would ship the beginning of week 4. Email response arrived last week. No order as yet. Things were much faster before! Why does a computer issue need to be a problem? Has the store been closed all month because the computers don't work???
