Has always been my go to. Im usually very picky about who cuts my hair but when I go to Nancy's I always trust whoever's chair I get in, and I've never been disappointed. Staff is all very friendly and family oriented!

Went in for the first time yesterday to get a haircut in preparation for a college career fair. I didn't have an appointment, but it wasn't very busy that morning so I didn't wait long.
I told my hair cutter (I can't remember her name) that I wanted a number 2 on the sides, faded to 2-2.5 inches on top - the typical college male haircut. I distinctly remember saying the words "faded" and "inches". She confirmed with me what I wanted, and what she described sounded exactly like what I wanted. She cut the sides well with the number 2 clipper, but then proceeded to buzz straight across the top of my head. I reminded her I wanted 2 inches up top, but at that point there clearly wasn't anything she could do to fix it. I instead received a number 2 buzz all over.
She genuinely felt bad about it, and I didn't have to pay for the cut I didn't want. However, I do not plan on coming back to Nancy's. In this instance, miscommunication happened remarkably easily for a haircut that is pretty standard.response / report this review -

Nancy’s Hair Loft is a wonderful salon with great stylists working there! You can always expect friendly and personalized service here for a great price. Everyone who works here is so nice and will make an effort to get to know you. They offer many services for maintaining both men’s and women’s hair, along with other services for nails and tanning.
I have been coming to this salon for ten years to get my hair cut and styled. My preferred stylist is Katie. She is incredibly knowledgeable and always does a fantastic job cutting my hair. She is also a great person and always nice to talk to, which is an important aspect of the salon atmosphere. I feel like she knows me very well as a customer and I don’t trust anyone else. I have gone in for everything from a simple haircut to very complex colorings and prints in my hair, and I have never been disappointed. I always have a fun time here and get great results.
The salon is in a very nice location in downtown Grove City. There is plenty of parking along the street, along with a small lot behind the salon. There are lots of other businesses in the vicinity.response / report this review -

Okay, PLEASE DO NOT COME HERE WHATEVER YOU DO!!! I went here LAST NIGHT and all of my nails are already starting to come off. They are smudged, uneven, bubbly and just disgusting. When I went to have them done, Nancy kept coming over and talking up the nail tech like she was so great. Obviously trying to cover up how terrible she was. Then, when I called back to tell them they need to redo my nails correctly, Nancy had the NERVE to actually ARGUE WITH ME?! I had to literally fight for my nails to be redone. They are extremely unprofessional and rude and snobby and overpriced. I payed $40 for something a child could have done better for. Horrible.
