Welcome to New Mexico Tech Society of Petroleum Engineers. This official page will be used as a means of communication between NMT SPE student members.

One of our goals for this upcoming year is to gain as much student participation as possible from both undergraduate and graduate students.

SPE will allow for all of the following opportunities:
1. Meet practicing professionals at meetings or society events
2. Apply for a mentor and receive practical career advice
3. Receive discounts on textbooks, reference books, and other Society publications
4. Apply for a number of SPE scholarships, with a quarter of a million awarded annually
5. Participate in various SPE programs: eMentoring, online communities and paper contests
6. Have your dues paid by Chevron, corporate sponsor for SPE student dues program
