I would give this company ZERO POINT ZERO STARS BUT IT DOES NOT GIVE ME THE OPTION. sorry about all caps but I heard that all CAPS means yelling. We fired their ass and they took double my HOA fees one time. I have been trying to get my money back for 5 months now. No one answers the phone and when I do talk to someone they say it will be 30 days or close to that. I see why we FIRED THEM. I AM ON HOLD AGAIN WITH ACCOUNTING AND THIS IS THE SECOND TIME TODAY THEY PUT ME ON HOLD. EACH TIME IT ENDS UP GOING TO A RECEPTIONIST THAT IS LIKE A DEER IN THE HEADLIGHTS. UNFORTUNATELY I CAN'T SEE THEIR EYES. NO WONDER WHY THE NICKNAME WE GAVE OUR PROPERTY MANAGER OF JAESCHKE'S NAME WAS
Pinocchio
We pay close to $250/month for HOA. Their website "Work Order" system never works. I placed two orders in and they say they will get back to you and have never contacted me. If you call their number you get a VM of saying "Mercella Smith" and noone ever picks up. Our unit's electrical is OUT in 2 rooms and the AC unit does not work and I'm just trying to get someone out to take a look at it before I call my own electrician.
Update: A day after I wrote this review, someone "reached out" to me and took about 10 minutes of my time to ask questions about my process of submitting a work order and how I was using their website. NOTHING was done to take care of my issue with my unit. It felt like a survey more than anything. This company is a mickey mouse operation .. STAY AWAY. For those who are sinking the same HOA fees as I am, I suggest you have a good handyman available for any issues because by the time these guys ever get back to you 3-6 months will have passed.

Last note: While the work orders and customer service portion of their web site appear to "not work", the payment/auto pay that steals your money every month work PERFECTLY.
Staff at N.N. Jaeschke are customer UNFRIENDLY and agrue every point brought up with them with some type of excuse - both our property manager and her assistant. Constructive comments are brushed off and suggested action taken only after extensive expenditures on maintenance solutions that did not work. Unresponsive to requests, including from our property manager's supervisor. Refused to remove/provide a clarification when a false violation was posted to my account. I have experience with another Associa managed HOA and they are very good, so I can only attribute the poor service and attitude to our property manager at the Mills at Cortez Hill in San Diego.
They many times don't answer their phones during regular business hours like today. I had something stolen in the pool area and need camera footage. Also, they let the hedges by the pool die and are not watering them and the board keeps wanting to add more and more money to fees for water, but we all individually pay our own water bills, so I don't get where the money is going. They don't even keep the hedge by the pool alive, but they keep all other plants and trees in the community alive.
I recently had a parking issue with my neighbor. I reached out to Pamela and Amber. They both contacted me the same day I called. Pamela has been very helpful and in touch with lots of useful information. I'm very thankful for their help.
Zero if that rating was available. NNJ changes managers like socks and the last doesn't know or care what the previous one did. They throw civil codes to intimidate and tie up people's and board members hands into dialogue and common sense solutions. Autocratic and rude are just two polite ways to describe this company
How in the modern era of digital documents and printers do you charge $500 for HOA documents needed to sell a condo. That is highway robbery after having to pay thousands of dollars in HOA fees.
I have never had to deal with an HOA or a management company but with my mom's failing health due to Dementia, I have had to move in with her and take over day to day activities. Having said that, I CANNOT believe how horrible these people are. David DeMoranville is THE RUDEST and MOST UNPROFESSIONAL person that I have come across in my life. It took him no less that 5 weeks to respond TO AN EMAIL that I sent and all of my request for a phone call were given a response of 'please put all requests in email and send to me' which is a joke. I would think that they would WANT to get to know the residents of a community that they manage but they could care less. I am disgusted and I can't even express what I want to do if I run into this idiot because I have had it. I am under enough stress as it is since I am not able to work because I have to look after my mom 24 hours a day and these morons insist on making life even more stressful and I can't take it anymore. I am going to do my part to get these guys run out of the Loma Riviera area because this is NOT right,
MOST INHUMAN ORGANIZATION
Who audits these guys to make sure how they are performing ?
Towed away my tenant's car from their driveway. Realized the mistake, and emailed ONLY THEIR security company, cant you CC me ??!! Spent many painful days to figure it out, and get the car and the refund.
All they did was talk about rules , rules and rules of their great kingdom where everyone is wrong and they are always right and so very baby sensitive skin. Never bothered how they can help solve a problem they created.
NNJ, you salaries come from the HOA Money I pay every month = $143 pm.
Pamela,
Ivan and I spoke to Ocwen last Thursday, and we was informed that the HOA is trying to sale the property as a short sale for $175,000, which appears to be far below market value of the property. Mr. Colon disagrees with the below value offer price as it negatively effect his taxes (1099-C). Since Mr. Colon will need to sign the short sale approval letter in order to complete the short sale, I recommend that we all meet in person again.
Also, I would like to share this note should we meet again at your office
*Just because Ivan, Shelly, and I are African American, does not mean that we are "bringing the whole gang" to your office as you stated when we last time that met in person.
In addition, the buyer's entity is owned by the Kyle Whissell, who is the broker/owner of the Whissel Realty per the CA Secretary of State. Also, Yuriy Korniyenko's is an agent with Whissel Realty per the CalBRE. This transaction is clearly not an arms-length transaction as there is an dual agency without disclosure, and there is no disclosure that the officer of the buying entity is the broker of the listing agent and buyer agent.
Horrible experience. Worst HOA company ever. PLEASE READ.
I own a property in Villa Taviana San Diego. I set up an automatic HOA payment for past 4 years because for family emergency I had to travel and I wanted to have one less thing to worry about. A year ago, management changed and without notifying us this company (N.N. Jaeschke, Inc.) which is the new HOA management cancelled our auto payment. We didn't notice that they cancelled it.
Now very unexpectedly I received the first letter ever that is from a law company. The letter says that you have not paid for a year and if you don't pay we foreclose your house in 30 days. The amount that they ask for has late fees for every month and around $2000 for lawyer fees which is outrageous. THIS IS TOTALLY NOT OUR FAULT. I would expect from any decent company to contact their home owners first and notify them (instead of hiring a law firm). First, the new HOA does not address our issue and said talk to the law company directly. I talked to the law company they hired and they said we don't waive any of it. I had to pay it because I don't want them to foreclose my house for a few thousands of dollars. I am hiring a lawyer to follow up on this. THIS IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. I am planning to write the same review on all possible sites to inform people to avoid dealing with this company at all costs. PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD.
