Founded on the principle that healthcare, especially reproductive health care, is a human right and guided by Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr's words: "Of all the forms of inequality, injustice in health care is the most shocking and inhumane." We work to ensure that all endometriosis sufferers, regardless of race, ethnicity, immigration status, gender identity, sexual orientation, or economic status have equitable access to quality and affordable health care in order to be able to fight this debilitating disease. At My Endo Experience we believe that by telling our individual stories we build a community in which no one has to suffer and fight alone. Our founders vowed that no more endo warriors would suffer alone and in silence but instead we would use our collective voice to educate, inform, and advocate for each other. By educating the public about the plight of endometriosis, informing patients of their options and resources, and advocating for research we envision a world where no one suffers alone. And we have the ultimate goal of one day curing endometriosis.
