Made an on-line reservation in July for September 12, 2017. Drove from Cincinnati with car in tow. And found the place does not exist. Called and got a message that no reservation would be taken after August. We had no communication. Web site is active. DO NOT MAKE A RESERVATION.

Made a reservation for August 4 on May 2. Received the cancellation July 26. After seeing the previous comments in July I called to confirm where they said the construction wouldn't allow for the tent camping and upgraded me to an RV pad with electricity and water. The email sent had a long list of possible sites. In the end the closest I could get to pictured rocks was Germfask 40 minutes away. Won't ever book here again; not even if there's a fire!

DO NOT RESERVE A CAMPSITE HERE. UNBELIEVABLE!
Booked an anniversary trip several months back, in late May. The campsite's website said they were opening in May. Facebook updates falsely advertised that construction was on schedule. There were even 3 reviews on Google which apparently were for a different campsite or fake reviews posted by ownership. We were supposed to stay there next weekend and just received the same email as the reviews below. The worst part is seeing that over ONE MONTH AGO there were people who were notified- why were we just now informed?! In Michigan you rarely will find an available campsite at these destinations with 1-2 weeks notice. I have never had a worse customer experience in my life. Even if this place someday finishes construction, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU DO NOT BOOK A SITE HERE. Any place with this poor of customer service will surely struggle to change and you do not want your reservation cancelled with no notice (especially when the campsite could have easily informed you months before). At the very least, there should have been any form of warning on the website or social media warning that construction was nowhere close to being finished. Hope this campsite never is able to open, enjoy your failed business and remember to always treat people right.response / report this review -

Please note that the good reviews for this place are meant for another campground. As pointed out in other reviews, this place hasn't been built. It has grading equipment working on it and appears to have utility lines run but it's nothing but dirt. In May when I made reservations for early July it sounded like everything was fine. We even discussed ease of access to the site I wanted. The owner never called or emailed me to cancel the reservations. On the day we were to arrive I was looking for directions online and found all the awful reviews. The closest site I was able to find on zero notice was 60 miles away. We had to drive an extra 120 miles to do our boat cruise. On the way back to Munising we stopped to see this "campground" and found out just what shape it was in. Even if this place eventually gets built I would never trust the owner again. His website looks like he's still taking reservations.

Just got our email cancelling our reservations now we have a vacation planned with no where to stay every campground is booked a weeks notice isnt enough time fyi. I bet if i cancelled on them they would charge me. Good luck i hope you go out of business what a joke

DO NOT MAKE RESERVATIONS AT THIS CAMPGROUND! I doubt this place is open. Like previous reviews we made reservations in April for travel this weekend. Our reservation was cancelled with less than a week's notice. We have taken time off work and are packed and ready to go but have no place to stay. The park never made any indication there could be a possible issue and will not answer the phone or return voicemail messages. I will make a report to the BBB and leave reviews on every site I can find to help future travelers. They have reviews from months ago that I believe to be fake. They obviously have no respect for potential customers and are dishonest in the way they conduct business.

Duped. No email notification. Rolled up just before dark to find out it doesn't exist. Why don't you a-holes at least update your phone answering machine.
Update: There was an email in my Spam. God forbid they pick up a phoneI wish I could post pictures. This place is nothing but a mud hole right now. They will be lucky to be open by this time next year. I would seriously think twice about doing business with people like this in the future!response / report this review -

How can you say you stayed there it is NOT OPEN so reviews must be fake. We planned a 4 day trip there also was told 4 days before trip not open.We rented a trailer now its a mess.

We had reservations for a late June weekend of Fri - Sunday nights and they just emailed us on Tuesday to say that they had to cancel our reservations due to "construction delays and washouts caused by severe weather". I checked Google Maps and saw no slowdowns on any roads in the area around the park. It seems they are currently building this RV park. It is possible, but difficult to imagine that they did not know they wouldn't be finished. It seems likely that they could have given us more than three days notice for a summer weekend reservation. I haven't heard of severe weather this June, so it seems possible that the construction delays began with a winter or spring storm. I suppose, once they open, people won't have problems with having their reservations cancelled. But, personally, I don't think I will be able to trust their word in the future, unless I hear back from them about some highly unusual storm and washout in the last week or two.
