Beautifully maintained climbing access, kind knowledgeable staff, always a good day in Muir valley
Great spot! Went to hike not climb, but on a slow early spring day loved it here. Definitely worth the small parking fee. Trails were maintained wonderfully, staff was extremely helpful. Wife and daughter loved it as well.
Always good. Bunch of friends climbing on rocks
We had the best airBnb next to the climbing arena at Muir Valley. This place is gorgeous, especially when the leaves are changing colors and you can roast marshmallows and hotdogs on the fire! There were deer everywhere. This is truly a great family place. It would also be such fun to have a 4x4 for the huge inclines.
Probably the best place in the gorge for new climbers in the 5.8-5.10 level IMO.
Great access to world class sport climbing. 10$ to park, but it's so worth it as you won't have to worry about if your car will make it out or not.
First time climbing outside and the walls where fun. They have emergency radios scattered across their land if you need it. With AT&T I didn't get any service but my friend with Verizon had LTE the entire time. I liked the landscape as well. Nature is nice. My group and I saw deer run across the path near the parking lot. Parking is $10. Everyone who climbed here was friendly and fun to talk to. I am definitely coming back here.
Amazing climbing and hiking.
Love climbing here. The people are great.
