  Found this place by accident while traveling with my son and service dog. I was a little concerned at first because I didn't do my usual Google or yelp search, we just needed a break and stopped.
  Upon entering, I was taken back by how cute the bar was decorated. We were immediately greeted and seated. After checking out the menu, I ordered a simple shrimp dish which came with a warm cabbage salad that was YUMMY, it also had Brussel sprouts and shredded carrots in it. The staff was also very accommodating and respectful to my service dog. They even allowed her some space to stretch out for a bit. Excellent food, special folks and fair prices is what you will find at Muddy Misers!

  Tried this place while passing through Zanesville. Gave it a try due to the decent Yelp reviews. Unfortunately, this is the worst seafood I've ever had. I'll attribute the good reviews to the fact that it's a small town and the bar is very low.
  
  I had the fish and chips, my girlfriend had the crab cakes, neither of which should ever be soggy. The fish must have been pre-fried and left to rest in a puddle of grease, as it was a bland, greasy, pile of fishy mush.
  
  The crab cakes were equally soggy. You'd expect a slightly crisp exterior, but instead they were the consistency of a sponge cake and the flavor of an actual sponge.
  
  This would be a one star review, however the sides that came with the meals were decent. If you're forced to eat here, order sides a la cart and avoid the disappointment of their main courses.

  Very neat place overlooking the river and decor. Fish and chips were wonderful. Ribs were tender melt in your mouth and smokey. Bbq sauce was very good, tangy not spicy and over powering.

  Atmosphere and food was good. Went about 2pm, was only told about the lunch menu. After we had ordered, was told that we could have ordered off of any part of the menu, not just the lunch. Prices were high for the small portions.

  Beautiful outside terrace overlooking the river and the city. Service is prompt and friendly. Typical fare. Good beers including the local - Weasel Boy. Lots of cool Zane Gray paraphernalia.

  Stopped in for lunch and really enjoyed it. The food was excellent and the service was good. Also the building has a lot of character made the meal that much more enjoyable.

  Great location, friendly and fast service, EXCEPTIONAL food! Unexpected food choices for a small town. Grilled walleye on a really fresh bed of mixed greens - $17. A burger with pulled pork (fabulous sauce - and I don't like BBQ) with bacon - AMAZING! Yum

  Great atmosphere and amazing food. I expected higher prices with the description of the food on the menu and that was before I saw the servings (huge!). The food was incredible, the service was very good and we will definitely be back! Highly recommended!

  Came here from out of town with some friends for the first time. The food was great and it had a cool homely fishing theme. It was just all around a cool place.

  This gem is just off the beaten path almost as though the locals are trying to keep it hidden from travelers, Saturday night, prime rib was amazing and I am told sells out every weekend. Great atmosphere, friendly service, wonderful food.

  Great food with a good view. The restaurant does not have a lot of seating and is kinda isolated. Overall it has very good food.
