Love the place. People and staff are nice and I love the German Bavaria style. :)

Extremely overpriced. Its cheaper to get a season pass to both Boyne and Boyne highlands with only a tiny bit of blackout dates. Food is overpriced and subpar. I wanna love this place but i also love not being broke so ill save my money and spend it at a hill that isnt a joke. If the pointless upcharging went away it would be at least a 4 star place, but id bet on that never happening. But with the bashing done the conditions are usually alright. High speed quad is nice i guess.

We come to Mt. Holly for a quick place to ski in snow days. It's also a great place to get back in the flow of skiing before you head up north or out west.

Instructors are friendly and classes are reasonably priced.

Overall for being a place just outside of Detroit, it's great.

My kids had never been skiing. This was the perfect place to take them to practice and learn. Plenty of room on the bunny hills. I was a little disappointed we didn't get poles with our rentals. I guess I'm old school.

    Pros:
    1. the largest ski area in the southeast of Michigan.
    2. It is not a bare hill like Pine Knob, but got trees between the runs --> nice.
    Cons:
    1. poor preventive maintenance: all lifts are in poor shape and outdated, except for one (high speed quad).
    2. overpriced: more expensive than larger and nicer Shanty Creek (Schuss Mt). At the high lift ticket prices, you would expect the facilities and the lifts to be in top shape. The contrary is the case --> sad, disappointing, little value for your money.

Excellent terrain for the area. I would say the best in the Detroit Metro Area. Park crew does a great job at setting up features and getting open early. The website and webcams are accurate. Website is always detailed about opening and closing days. Just wish you guys were closer to home, my little guy and I love to ride here.

They have the best hill/mountain in the Detroit area. If you are trying to decide on where to go, take the extra few minutes and drive to Mt Holly. They have longer runs, trees and a quicker tow rope. This is by far the best place to go to for skiing/snowboarding in the Metro Detroit Area.

High speed chair lift is a great perk along with being able to ski around some trees.

We have skied at all of the places in Detroit Alpine, Brighton, Pine Knob, etc. My mom use to take us from Sterling Heights to pass knob because it was the best. Now I live in Brighton and we drive to go to Mt Holly because it is the best. Do not waste your time and money to go anywhere else if you are a couple of times a year skiergo to Mt Holly.

Smaller than the ski hills up north (of course) , but still a great time. The bar inside is nice and the staff is great. They do a fun New Years Eve event where the ski patrol does a light parade down the hill.

The skis and snowboards are really well kept if you are renting. The slopes are also all really fun to go on. Many are also surprisingly really well kept. Lastly, the staff were all really helpful and nice. I recommend going here and checking out the place!
