We offer events through the year; pet vaccination clinics, neighborhood garage sales, and Bluegrass Festival to raise money for our local volunteer Fire Depts and along with a quilt raffle that is provided by the quilters.
Our wonderful Quilting club meets on Wednesdays, 9a-2p (September-May).
On the second and fourth Saturday nights of each month, a talented group of musicians jam together and perform an old-fashioned Hootnanny. This has been going on since the 1960's when Fred and Edna Haynie started inviting any local musician to come to jam. Their children are still doing it to this day.
The Mountain Springs Mellowdrummers perform a play ever year in the spring that raises money for the club and helps pay the bills.
In the fall we have a Community Concerns day with various speakers; crime watch experts, county judges, county commisioners, Parks and Wildlife officials - in general anything that needs discussed in the community.
This is also a place for you to use for reunions, meetings, dinners and social events. Please call our Secretary to make a reservation - 940-637-2388.
