Trails are easy to identify and moderately trafficked unless you are only hiking to the notch. If you are going to the notch there will be a lot of foot traffic.

I like to hike the Robert Frost trail from the Harris Mnt. Rd entrance. I haven't made it all the way to the notch but I'm told it's nice. Going the other direction is easier and has a neat view when you get to the power lines (just try to ignore them =).
