Wonderful staff here, they treat people with good hospitality and keep the hotel clean. No bed bugs either. We have been very comfortable during our recent stays. We choose this hotel first now.

Everyone was very friendly from the time we called to make a reservation to our actual stay. We forgot an item and we were given a very cordial run around for a week. When we finally got a hold of the manager, he very promptly resolved our issue. It was very frustrating to have to call daily for over a week and that our item "disappeared." Otherwise, we had a good stay.

While trying to check-in the receptionist was her personal phone while I stood waiting. Not professional! Also this is third time that I've stayed at a M6 with no ability to plug in my phone or laptop. Why have a desk in the room? I realize cost is a factor, but maybe it's to revamp the Motel 6s

I stayed at Motel 6 Syracuse this past weekend for three nights. Room was never cleaned...no fresh towels, no garbage emptied, no soap and toilet paper checked. Note:. The room only had 1/4 roll toilet paper to start with no back-up roll. When I asked the front desk after the first night, I was informed it was hotel policy to not clean the room unless staying at least a week. If I wanted clean sheets, I could change them myself, but make sure the dirty sheets are brought back to the front desk. When I checked out, I asked the desk again about " the policy" and she said it was not policy, but would have the manager call me when he came in. Two days later...still no phone call. So much for staying at this hotel repeatedly for over 20 years.

Their were key people who accommodated myself husband and two young children with great customer service by being polite helpful and respectful. How ever the safety was an issue and concern with key cards not working because of certain doors, but then doors not capable of closing because of snow and ice. Snow being plowed didn't happen as needed so we had to shovel our car out. The house keepers were great and so was Jim & other staff which unfortunately I can't remember the names. Thank you God bless!

Service was great, but that was where the positivity in the experience ended. I understand the agreement I enter into when I pay 40 dollars for a room, so I wasn't surprised by what I saw. Upon entering the hotel I was greeted by wonderful customer service. However my sensitive olfactory was assaulted by what can only be described as The scent of "Snoop Doggs backup dancers tour bus". There was a dank cloud of marijuana odor looming over the motel like the impending attack of scabies in the rooms. The beds were creaky, and covered in cigarette burns. The shower was a risk I wasn't willing to partake in either. I'm pretty sure my trips companion laid towels down as to not transfer whatever fluids or other bacteria were most assuredly coating the ominous floor of the tub. All in all you get what you pay for, but be forewarned. The itch that ensues will be a constant reminder that you should just pony up an extra 25 dollars and stay at the Ramada.

When you opened the door to the 2nd floor where we were staying, all you could smell was marijuana. Day and night. The beds were terrible. Sheets didn’t appear very clean. Definitely couldn’t pay me enough to stay there again. It was fairly cheap was the only positive.

The floor was dirty and sticky. We got locked out of our room and the desk clerk could not access the electronic locks for several hours, our suitcases were inside. You have to request housekeeping which we were not told so the bed went unmade and the garbage not emptied. We had to replenish our own towels. The electric socket on the bathroom did not work and although we were told that woukd be fixed it was not. We requested a non smoking room and initially were placed in a smoking room when it was brought to the clerks attention they said it was a non smoking room. The room wreaked of cigarette smoke including the bedding. This was a terrible experience.

If I could give 0 stars I would... first the employee at the desk acted bothered to do his job. He didn't write or offer the WiFi password when it's advertised it's free. Second the room was absolutely disgusting.. hair and dirt all over the floor, it was sticky as our shoes were sticking to the floor, hair in the bed.. we were afraid of what else was in there we couldn't see, bathroom was like it hadn't been cleaned in a very long time.. What looked like pubic hair all over the tub, sink and toilet were dirty. The room smelled like smoke and hallway was filled with the smell of marijuana. I understand this is a cheap place to stay but this was so appalling, absolutely gross. We've stayed at many Motel 6's and have never been to one this gross. Will never stay again!

This was a good stop-over for us. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and functioned well. The only drawback was that we had to pay extra for wifi for each device. But we would stay there again!

The Motel was adequate for Our needs this Syracuse Nationals Weekend stay Wednesday thru Sunday morning. The room was clean well appointed, bathroom was large and there was plenty of Hot water for showers. The grounds were kept cleaned up and the public areas were clean and inviting. The only drawbacks were the parking lot is a Disaster with holes big enough to lose You car and the a/c while it did cool the room, it did not dehumidify the room enough to make it comfortable. Both of these concerns were brought to the Staffs attention.

This was my forth time staying during the Syracuse Nationals and never did the rooms appear like this. The beds looked like they had been slept in and quickly made and there was actually body hair in one of the beds. We arrived later in the day and the floor in our room was still wet from being mopped and the room had an odour. Spoke to the front desk the next morning and the bed we slept in was remade with fresh sheets but not sure about the other. Still very wrinkled sheets. Disappointed after past experience.

After an almost 12 hour trek on the road coming from MI, we found our room accommodations fine -- clean and welcome. While the building itself is still being rehabbed, the individual rooms were well-renovated and ready for guests. However, what stands out most is the professionalism and help from the desk manager upon our arrival. She's a keeper --

I'm simply looking for clean budget motel rooms when I travel, and Motel 6 is often my go-to provider since I can travel more often if I can save a few bucks on accommodations. I don't need anything fancy, no in-room fridges or that kind of stuff, and I'm happy to bring my own shampoo. The East Syracuse location is a clean, comfortable motel, conveniently located nearby to several other national chain hotels, in an area that doesn't look scary. Everything (electricity, plumbing, etc.) in the room worked, the bed was comfortable, the front-desk staff was efficient and personable, and I had no problems at all. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if I'm ever in the area.

For the price, this Motel 6 is an excellent deal. My room was spacious and clean, the bed was comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful, which earns the motel extra points. This motel lacks some of the extra features a pricier option would include for free- such as wifi or those little travel bottles of shampoo/conditioner. That being said, I don't think those amenities are worth the $30+ difference between Motel 6 and the local competitors. The location was a little tricky to find because it's tucked back and down a road. You actually have to pass by other hotels to get there. My one gripe is that the rooms or maybe just the door has very little soundproofing. I am a very light sleeper and was woken up by a dog barking nearby early in the morning. I recommend ear plugs if you're a light sleeper staying here. I had a great night's rest here and the night and morning staff were all super nice. Next time I'm in the area, I will definitely stay here again-I'll just bring ear plugs.
