Great hiking and lovely rolling waterfalls.
Probably one of my favorite places in Birmingham
Really beautiful and the trails are very well kept. Not a hard hike but a good workout.
Great fun for me and for my dogs! I live close and it's an easy hike. I recommend to anyone who wants a day out in nature and it's in the middle of Hoover!
The have just cleared a big area right where the main trail starts for people to park who are visiting the preserve.
Now you can park at the top of the hill right next to the entrance
Look for a gravel pathway leading up from the roundabout. Park in the parking spaces provided right after the roundabout. You can't miss them. There is a lot of construction around right now.
This is a beautiful 250-acre nature preserve nestled in the middle of Hoover neighborhoods. Approximately 10 miles of hiking trails, including waterfalls and a boulder field popular for rock climbing.
