One of my favorite spots to shop since I was little, the perfect place to go to find gifts or for “hard to buy for people”
Morgan Imports doesn't need my recommendation. It's been around for a long time and for a reason. Great staff. And it has everything you would want in a variety/country store. Great for local Christmas shopping.
First Time, place with nice knick knacks, history learning material, childrens clothes, great place. A little pricey on some things.
The biggest collection of interesting, funny, and beautiful things you'll ever find under one roof! You can wander for hours just browsing. Always my first (and usually only) stop for gifts!
Fun store full of quirky products. Great for gifts or decorating.
Wonderful, eclectic selection of gifts, furniture, decor, notebooks, kitchenware pretty much everything. Between this and Parker & Otis, you can wander around the Brightleaf-area gift shops for hours and hours.
Expensive but awesome! The store has so much stuff you didn't know you always wanted. Also their holiday decorations are second to none in the triangle. 5 stars always, a must visit in Durham.
Fun, quirky items for every room. Been browsing these shelves for 30 years (including the old location across the street). You almost can't leave without finding at least one thing you can't live without (last visit, it was a pair of risqué socks :)
This is a nice local place to shop. The store is huge and the staff are friendly. I did find their prices to be a bit high but they do have an amazing selection of unique items. Their stationary section is pretty incredible. It's a great place to shop for a gift for someone and is around a lot of cool little restaurants and stores in downtown Durham.
Great place to shop for kitsch and unusual gifts. An annual holiday tradition with my bride. Perfect stop for Hannukah gifts and decorations too!
Morgan impetuous has a lot of very interesting things (I say things because it is an eclectic collection). I have always liked the array of quirky cards and books the best. My issue with their other offerings is that it can get pretty expensive. With a little creativity, a lot of their kitchen, garden, and furniture wares can be found elsewhere for less.
Has many cool collectables and knickknacks. Lots of cute gag stuff as well. I absolutely love going here
Great selection of holiday décor, and such a variety of clothes, shoes, cards, books, furniture, gadgets, kid's stuff
There's so much and worth a look if you're in a mood to add some personality to your house. It's mixed between local and international goods, and more on the expensive side.
Lots of stuff for giving as presents to your loved ones. Unique items and when Christmas is near they place amazing products in their shelves that'll make you spend like crazy.
