Legitimately the best place in Michigan. Great hill, greater staff.

excellent staff. Optimal facilities. Decent terrain. If you're not an avid skier, Ripley is a great place. If you consider yourself an expert, go an hour north to Bohemia, you won't regret it..unless you run into a tree. Then you might regret it.

Small hill that's a hit with Michigan Tech students. They get lots of snow and it's as close as you can get to town, but the runs aren't very long which means more time on the lift.

I love skiing here. Lift tickets are free for MTU students so you can't beat the price. The hill offers little for someone just starting but it does have great classes for beginners.

Several runs for the size uf the hill. Friendly workers. Chillay with cafe with good prices when you need a break. Also possible to bring your own food.

HORRIBLE - HORRIBLE - HORRIBLE!! Do not waste your time. The snow is often too fresh and too deep. I also never get a chance to stand in a lift line and catch my breath after breaking trail, run after run after run.

And what's going on with all these trees? If they just knocked all these extra trees down, we'd be able to get rid of all that pesky lightweight and deep lake effect snow a lot sooner!

Save your money and (keep) head(ing) to Mrqt or Ironwood instead
