Staff is super fun and helpful. Super cool chill spot and the Mead is great. Definitely recommend trying out the samplers if you visit the first time around. They don't serve food, so we picked up some nearby before we arrived.

Monks Meadery is such an amazing hidden gem! The mead is dangerously delicious & I consider myself a picky drinker. There’s attention to detail felt in everything from the warmth of the owner & staff, and the ambiance with the incredibly curated Monk-y decor (check out those one-of-a-kind wooden flying cherubs!). Definitely recommend bringing anyone who’s new to mead- the flight tasting is superb!

This was a great place, the mead is made with honey so its going to be sweet, but its no overpowering or sicky sweet like other meaderies I've been to. Super friendly staff, definitely would reccomend trying the flight of beers to get a good taste. Hands down my top 3 favorites there were the Peachin to the Choir, the Dragon's Nectar and Hazy Monk. 10/10 would reccomend.

I’m so happy I found this place. It’s a really fun alternative to going to a traditional brewery for an interesting brew. It’s the first time I’ve tried mead, and the owner and staff were friendly and knowledgeable about what mead is and how it’s made. If you haven’t tried mead and you like interesting beer, wine, or even wine spritzers, you really should try mead!!! They brew all sorts of different types with really intriguing flavor combos. Plus, the atmosphere is fun and the space is visually appealing. Finally, the location is great. I live outside of town and had a great time just walking around the neighborhood. Monks Meadery is definitely one of my new favorite spots!!! Try it!

Words do not describe how much I love this meadery. So hard to go wrong on anything you try at the tasting room. Personal favorites are Peaching to the Choir (tastes like peach tea), Stigmata (sweet wine lovers, I see you), Dragon's Nectar (only drink worthy of Dragon Con), Eager Beaver (Y'ALL IT'S STRAIGHT UP PINK LEMONADE), and Apple 3.14 (the name says it all).
