Description

The Forest Preserve District of Will County's Monee Reservoir Visitor Center offers public programs, as well as rowboats, pedalboats, trolling motors, snowshoes, fishing poles, and games for rental, and a meeting area for rental. The Visitor Center is also open Tuesday through Sunday for the public to purchase picnic, camping, and dog park permits, as well as bait and concessions. The preserve provides parking areas, two shelters, latrines, water pumps, and access to 1.64 miles of natural surface trail (ideal for hiking/running and, in the winter, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing) and a 46-acre lake for fishing, boating, and canoeing/kayaking.
