we like to ride on the poker runs .and go from bar bar we play games while on harleys lots of fun'. like spending time with my grandkids!

I called and asked if they worked on Heckendorn brand mowers and was told they did and were very familiar with the 88" mower. I delivered the mower to them (25 miles each way) and was told they would get me an estimate right away and upon my request assurred me the mower would be stored inside. After about 10 days without a response I called and pushed for an estimate. The lady called back later that day and gave me an estimate of over $1300.00. Although they encouraged me to trade the mower to them for a new one, I picked up the mower (25 miles each way). Although I am not very mechanically inclined, I decided to work on the mower as the grass was getting quite high. Their estimate showed replacement all belts (a service I had not requested) and replacement of the starter (nearly $350 for the starter before installation). I repaired the mower in about two hours (less time than loading, unloading, delivery and pick-up) and with about $100 in expense. Part of that time was replacing the points as they were rusted, I assumed from being stored out in the weather. Seemed to me they would rather sell you a mower than fix the one you have, but this does not say much for their integrity.
