As a child this was my first camping experience, the memories stayed with me, my entire life. Now I get to share this with my children. There are so many beautiful sights to see, activities and amazing trails. It is a must see!

Gorgeous park with primitive camping options for up to six people for site,and a group camp area for up to 25 people may be more. First come first serve campsites with Ten sites available. Check out the website for exact details. For the most part it's just show up and register and follow the directions on the board, then you have to park your vehicle and walk to each site except the group site. Remember respect the Park and keep the parks clean. I recommend checking out the many activities the park has to experience.

I love this area. My daughter goes to church camp in this area. We always visit the Malabar Farm Gift shop for one of their homemade sodas. The colors in the fall are incredible and are a treat to see from the Ranger's tower. There is a Covered Bridge, and a hiking trail that leads you to a couple waterfalls. If you are from Ohio, it is a great day trip.

5 stars for area. 1 star for room. Peeling wallpaper, black mold, cob website and more. Very beat up and dated room for $160. Also, beds were awful. Would of stayed somewhere else if rooms would of been available.

Great park. Camped there for a week. Sites are not very private, but are nice and clean with paved parking for RVs and cars. The road noise was a disappointment, but it is hard to get away from that in the east and in urban areas. Enjoyed the trails and a number of the spots in the park. The park does a great job in providing picnic areas, washrooms and BBQs to use throughout the park.

Beautiful wilderness, some challenging hiking trails and good bike paths, well maintained. We drive 4 hours to visit. Registered for first come, first served campsite. Had strangers crash our site, and they wouldn't leave. I'm grateful for the sites but beware.

There are miles and miles of hiking, biking and horse trails here. We have a beautiful deep gorge with a river running through it for fishing enthusiasts and anyone who wants to drift along on a tube. Enjoy the cool shade of the forested trails and hike to Big Lions Falls or just just head off on one of the many other trails and enjoy. There's plenty to do here and it's very family friendly.

This park is very organized and clearly marked for a day tripper like me. So much to do and see here. Hiking up to the dam and then down to the falls then back to the covered bridge was energizing! It is certainly a good workout. Visiting the fire tower and the gorge lookout added a nice way to wind down from the hike.

Beautiful state park, many things to see and do. The roads within the park are in bad shape and need resurfaced but the park is so beautiful that doesn't deter from my 5 star rating.

Great place to explore. If you have kids know that not all trails lend themselves well too young kids. But the desovery Forest is a good place for kids.

A beautiful place that holds a lot of memories, for me! There's a campground there, way back when I was there, there was only a bathroom. There's also trails. 2 leading up to the Pleasant Hill Dam. Angel Falls is there. And then 1 going off of the parking spaces by the bridge, and 1 at the back-end of the campground. Also, there is a picnic area with a restroom. It's before heading into the campground.
