If you're hesitant to try, DONT BE! Long story short, you make an appointment, you see their nurse practitioner, and they write a script for massage therapy based on your specific needs. She recommends how often, etc... Then you make appointments to get massages, and they're billed to your insurance! I've added some pics of the diagnostic room where you'd meet the NP. The rooms for massage treatment are what you would expect from any massage, low light, soft ethereal music, heated massage table.
The facility is clean and serene. Everyone working there is helpful and calming. The massages are AWESOME. Over the last few years, I've been for back pain, neck pain, hip pain, post-surgical issues, stress tension, and probably other issues that I've forgotten. Every time, every session has been relaxing and has had a positive impact on whatever pain I was feeling. The NP can also prescribe lidocaine cream be used during the massage and/or trigger point injections. There have been times when I needed one or the other or both, and I've been so thankful they were available.
I HIGHLY recommend Modoma. I wish they were in McKinney, but otherwise, I've got no issues at all!
I am very upset with this location. They told that only if i meet my deductable they will schedule the massage. But once i logged in and see i didnt meet the deductable. So asked them to reschedule. But they refused and charged $50 as noshow. My appointment at 12pm but as i called her she charged by card at 11:30am only which us not correct. Is this acceptable?
I booked my appointments 6 weeks out with David and Sarah in the Frisco location. I received a text confirming my appointment. As I walk in for my appointment, I'm informed that I do not have an appointment. I provide the text message as proof. Then, I'm informed that, my appointment was accidentally cancelled and that I should sit and wait and hope that someone will cancel to be squeezed in. Full disclosure, I rescheduled my entire day to be able to make this appointment and then to be told that I should waste more time and hope to get a subpar masseuse. Absolutely unacceptable! I cancelled all, as in every future appointment my appointments at Modoma and requested proof of cancellation and a call back from a manager.
Liked the Medical massages here - almost 45 mins for a quick targeted massage. All the masseuse are professional and best in their job. Most of the cases these medically necessary massages are insurance covered. The support staff are best to keep the reminders on time. Me and my wife both goes here for the massages.
This is an amazing place! Insurance pays for massages! There are some amazing therapists here! I highly recommend using their service. Be sure not to overpay doe things insurance won't cover! Debbie will get to the heart of the problem and try to fix it quickly! Peter will too, but he does it in a way that is so relaxing and he will put you to sleep! So many of the massage therapists are so good!!!
