Welcome to Modelo’s Market Cafe, a small shop that is big on service! We strive to serve the Somerville community by bringing the authentic taste of Brazil to the city we call home.
We serve fresh and affordable breakfast, lunch, and dinner. From a traditional American breakfast of bacon, eggs, and home fries to our Brazilian specialty plates of rice, beans, garden salad, and choice of meat, we provide a unique combination of Brazilian and American flavors in a neighborly, small-town atmosphere.
Join us for a delicious meal or stop by for all your grocery shopping needs. Our friendly neighborhood store provides all the convenience of a local corner market without the lines and high prices of a large chain store. We also offer prime meats cut to order, meat grinding, and free marinating. Try our fresh Brazilian breads, pastries, desserts, and decorated cakes.
