  This week is Spirit Week. Show your Cougar Pride. The Homecoming Dance will be on Friday in the MJMS Cafeteria from 4-5:30 PM. Tickets are $2 and will be sold during lunch time.

  Congratulations to Araceli Castellanos for being named the MJMS Team Notre Dame 7th grade Student of the Month for September! Araceli is a kind, very respectful young lady who is also an excellent student. She currently maintains averages of 90 and above in each of her classes. Her teachers described her as an exceptional student who may likely have the best penmanship in the seventh grade! Along with being a great Notre Dame student, Araceli is also a member of the Miller Jordan Choir. Team Notre Dame is comprised of: Coach A. Garza (ELAR/Team Leader), Mrs. A. Torres-Galvan (Math), Ms. J. Rios (Texas History), Mr. D. Draper (Science), Mrs. O. De Lira (ELAR), and Mrs. A. Dubois (Math). Araceli is the daughter of proud parents Veronica Arellano and Ernesto Castellanos. Congratulations once again to Araceli!!
