  Congratulations to our outgoing officers, and the entire chapter over the 2018 calendar year for all they accomplished. This past weekend at the Chiles Province Council in Carbondale, Illinois, they were awarded the following awards:

  Excellence in Fraternal Communications Project Outreach: Outstanding Service Hours Per Man Project Outreach: Outstanding Dollars Per Man... Excellence in Social Media Communications Outstanding Recruitment and Chapter Growth Excellence in Educational Programming Excellence in Campus and Community Communication

  In addition to these awards, we were also awarded the Samuel Z. Ammen Award for Chapter Excellence, which is given to the top 10-15% of chapters in the nation! To top it off we were also given the honor of receiving the George C. Marshall Award for Chapter Excellence (our 11th) which is only given to the top 1-3 chapters in the nation.

  Outstanding work Brothers, let's continue to perform higher and higher than we've ever done before.

  December 21st might not mean much to the average person but to a member of the Kappa Alpha Order it is truly special. For this day in 1865 our order was founded. Congratulations to the past and present members of the chapter in making us what we are today. #excelsior

  Come join us on Saturday, September 29th at Schuman Park to kick off our First Annual 5KA Color Walk/Run for MDA! Tickets are only $20 if you sign up before September 1st, and include a free t-shirt! The race is timed, and there will be medals for the top three times in each age bracket.   Homecoming was a huge success all due to our generous alumni! The Beta Alpha alumni gave over $50,000 in scholarships to members of the active chapter! Thank you to all the alumni who joined us for a wonderful night and for all that you do for our chapter. You’re the reason why Beta Alpha upholds is so great!

  ‪Beta Alpha is proud to announce our KA of the Summer, Cody Witt! As our Ritualist, he led us in model initiation for the 2017 Convention, he established our 3D house tour on our website, and he ensured our house was in pristine condition over the summer. His efforts exceeded expectations and his actions are the definition of #Excelsior. Congratulations, Brother Witt!
