The entertainment makes up for the lack of space and sitting spots. Restrooms are so super small and awkward to walk through. Drinks are weak and overpriced. Super expensive for the lack of alcohol. Good thing it has an ATM in case you forget cash.
We love this bar, there are amazing Drag shows, and if you dont get picked on, they must not like you! Relax, have a few drinks and enjoy the bar, the dance floor and the show is always amazing, this is a clean bar, with a "no hate" policy. Be sure and ask for Flo, its her show!, enjoy!!!
Love this bar! Russell at the front door is great. And love larron the bartender
I loveeeee this place, it is always full of life and beautiful people, even since 2011 when I first went. I adore the drag shows and loving energy of the staff. You can't go wrong hitting up this LGBT+ friendly bar!
One of, if not the oldest, gay club in the city. Great kareoke and fun drag shows! Staff is friendly and quick... A guaranteed good time!
This place is not even CLOSE to being inexpensive!! Completely overly priced in EVERY way from the cover charge to drink specials to staple drinks. ALL OVERPRICED AND WATERED DOWN. The place looks like the back end of an alley bar and smells like a dirty rotten locker room. It is crusty, smelly, and frankly doesn't look like nor smell like it has had a deep cleaning....ever. The bartenders are rude and vicious. The doorman was rude and vicious. The drag queens are rude and vicious. The drinks are so watered down its an insult to top shelf liquor. TAKE YOUR MONEY AND DESIRE OF A GOOD NIGHT OUT.. ELSEWHERE.
The Flo Show is the best drag show around. The beer bust makes it even better.
Love the drag show.. but honestly say the drinks are not strong and watered down. The amount of shots I had should have made me wasted .... However I didn't feel anything. The place is very choppy but the workers are fun!
Great fun with blazing fast bartenders. Definitely a top notch club!
It was okay I guess. Haven't actually drank anything there yet because I was DD both times. What was not cool though was during the drag show one of the Queens actually kicked my sister with her HEEL across the steps she was sitting on in order yo straddle her (my sister's) fiancee. It was all funny and stuff when the Queens were giving him attention until this point. She then later (same queen) pushed my sister aside, hard enough to have her knock heads with me who was sitting next to them, when she was sitting on her fiancee's lap.
It was fun until this. Then mine and my sister's mood just went south. It's fun and amusing to see the Queens play and hit on the audience. It's not fun when they actually HURT them in the process. I'm not sure I'll ever come back.
Its a great time to be here.music staff and people.fun fun fun....
I love Missie B's. Best gay bar in the area. It's my home bar. Everyone treats me like family.
Great bartender got us our first drinks on the house :D
I really wish I could have stayed to be able to enjoy the entertainment as well... Another time!
EDIT 11-2016: went back to play free pool and darts before 8pm (😁). Staff still very friendly, but noticed a fairly transphobic sign on the upstairs bathroom doors 🙁 (even if it is meant to prevent drug use indoor. There are other ways to do that/other language to use)
Will turn down my 5-star rating until it is addressed.
The owner and staff are amazing. Great atmosphere, but showing its age a bit. Can be clique-y if you're not young and pretty, but that describes most clubs . . .
First time there. Tickets to Friday show were sold out. A guy at the door said tickets are sold online. I do not see anywhere where you can buy them, definitely not on their website. Did not had a chance to go upstairs to the dance floor either. There was a private event. After finishing our watered down drink we went somewhere else.
Overall the bouncer/door tender was very standoffish and did not go out of this way to explain what is going on or how to get tickets. Will not go back.
