4 pieces of Chicharrón de pollo for 12.00.
Ladies were not at all helpful or glad to be working there. Ambiance was not pleasant at all.
My apologies for the rating but maybe if you charged good, you deserved good treatment . God bless

Not what I expected. Food does not taste like dominican food.. lots of potential, but food has to improve.
    Dissapointed.

The mofongo doesn't taste as a Mofongo at all, more like a dry mangu, told the waitress to what she replied that they won a recognition for having the best mofongo in town (I wonder who gave that award and if they have tried a real one before) . Brought me the chef, that happens to be her son, that told me that I was wrong and if I haven't seen the award they got, that I had tried not well made mofongos before that's why I didn't knew what a mofongo was. (Born and raise in Dominican Republic, so I guess the whole island is wrong)
Both upset and with attitude and I'm the client here, and paid for it, horrible experience, they were disrespectful and instead of apologizing or trying to do things better, they did the opposite

Food was okay. I was visiting Miami and wanted to eat Dominican food, when it was time to pay, a man with gray hair was rude, we wanted to pay with a credit card but he pressured us to pay with a debit card, and even asked us to leave an extra tip, I like to tip generously because I know how hard the hospitality workers work, but the service wa subpar and did not deserve an extra tip.
I tip between 15 to 20% even more if food was delicious with great service but this place at best is the cafeteria around your block when there is nothing else to eat, I do not recommend, place is dark and service slow, would not come back.

Music is uncomfortably loud. My ears hurt. Was not ask for order. Food was not worth the wait. When food arrived, it was quickly sent back. Refuse to pay for tasteless food. Extremely cramped. Lost track of how many times someone brushed up against me. This is not a "FAMILY DINNER" environment. (For more please read Anella's and Frank's review)

    WILL NOT RETURN.

It was wayyyy to small. To the point where some people were standing. When they played dance music there was nowhere to dance; we tried dancing in the hallway but the staff couldn't even pass by without bumping into us every time. And worst of all the place was so packed that it took forever for the food to arrive. Waited 45 minutes for a plate of pasta.

We reserved a table for a birthday and had strangers sitting at the table because there was no more room. And we requested a cake at midnight but it can much later ruining the moment.

    Never coming again!
