I was referred to Mike's Repair shop by a friend. Joey the Service Manager was very kind and easy to work with. Shawn, one of the Service Technicians who worked on my car, explained the needed repairs to me in a way that was simple to understand, and he got my car running in top shape. Everyone I met there was nice, honest, and helpful. Not only will I go back if need be but I will not hesitate to refer friends and family to them. Keep up the great work!

On 8/24 we were looking for tires for our SUV. We were told that the tires we wanted had to be ordered. Later that afternoon, I called back to inform the shop to go ahead and place the order for the tires. I also said that I would be there sometime after 8 am to drop off the car. When I arrived to drop the car off, I was informed that I didn’t let them know to go ahead and place the order and that they could not get my tires in today. I even called back a second time to let them know that I would be there fist thing in the morning. Not sure if they didn’t write it down, but to me this is poor customer service and I will not be bringing them any business in the future.

Can anyone there actually return a call? I have left 3 messages today to check the status of a repair for my company and my calls have gone un-returned. I left a message yesterday and no response. The President of our company left a message on Friday and the call has not been returned. Update on my review our truck is still being held hostage by this repair shop. After we were assured that our truck would be available last weekend we still do not have our truck. The owner will not return our calls and no one in the office will give us an update.

I was in an accident and my car was towed to this place by a very friendly flatbed truck operator. The vehicle was totalled so I had to get my stuff out of it. The accident was on I71 on my way to Dayton. I get off work, 40 min west of Dayton, at 330 and the impound lot closes at 5. I called three times in a week to set up a day and time so that I was sure they would keep the impound lot open for me. The lady I talked to in the second call said she would try to find someone to meet me that evening and would call back. She never called back. Instead, I called a third time shortly after leaving work and told the same woman my earliest ETA would be 610. She said to mention her name and that someone would be there until at least 8. Two and a half hours later I arrived and mentioned the situation to the people behind the counter and they said they had no idea what I was talking about and reminded me of their 5 pm close time. I mentioned the woman's name and they told me to wait while they tried to contact her. She didn't respond to the calls the cashier/attendant made and so they told me to leave and come back at 8. This was absolutely ridiculous and something I would expect from a 5 year old running a lemonade stand. Very unprofessional, unorganized, and unaccommodating. I work during the entire business hours of the lot and could not possibly have gotten there on time. I haven't been at my current job long enough to qualify for vacation so taking time off was not an option. This whole experience was a nightmare and my experience with Mike's Towing was almost as bad as the crash itself. The only redeeming thing was the exceptionally friendly truck operator who made me laugh and feel better about the whole experience. If not for him (whom I rate 5 stars), I would make this rating a 1.

The dealership recommend we call these guys for a tow tonight. So we called, we told the driver a flat bed wouldn't fit where the car is being its an apartment complex & where our garage was located. The driver insisted that he can get any car out with his flatbed, and he would get it done when he arrived. Like we said the flatbed wouldn't get close enough so he wanted to push our van that would not start on an incline to the tow truck. After pulling with all his might on the steering wheel with no luck he wanted my husband to push the car. My husband couldn't help him do his job because he had a transplant and can't be pushing and pulling on cars. After asking him to stop and asking him if he can get a regular tow truck he said no and persisted on being rough on our van trying to get it to the truck. After being asked to not do that anymore he said have a nice day and hopped in his tow truck and drove away leaving our van in the middle of the parking lot blocking traffic. We cannot move the car, and have to try to find another company at 11 o'clock at night. This is the second company in two days that doesn't seem to know what they're doing.

If you want the owner to ask you 1000 questions about you. AND call the cops on you. Then I suggest stand outside for 30 mins while you wait for your supervisor and watch him call his employees to harrass you. I am a young woman not from around the town and was doing my job. At the end of the night I carpool. Apparently this place considered me to be a criminal for waiting on my ride. It was none of their business.

This company is one of the finest group of hometown people I have had the pleasure of dealing with. I would love to recommend everyone to spread the word this is the place to be for all your automotive needs. Five stars.

Richard from Mike's met me at the Shell station at 71 and 95 at Mount Gilead. He was a great guy and changed the tire on my wife's SUV. Richard got down on the wet, slushy ground and worked like a champion. Let it be noted, I carry a gold AAA card and I waited an hour on hold for them, and never spoke to a human, when Ayla from the Shell station, and it's kindly owner, got me connected with Mike. I called and he sent Richard. So, please you locals use these guys and I wish the best to any other traveler, like me. If you have misfortune at 71 and 95--go to the Shell convenience store and also called Mike's Towing. Bless you guys, I can't wait to contact AAA for a little talking to.
