  Graduated from here with my Bachelor's of Science two years ago; and while I mostly enjoyed my time here I can honestly say the Financial Aid office is quite possibly the worst part of the school (it was even that way when it was Macon State.so very little has changed in this area with the merger and level change). Most of the professors are professional and more than willing to help their students (if you ask). However, as with most colleges, I think you will get out of your experience, what you put into it.

  They lost my financial aid materials I sent in before the dead line. After the deadline I was unenrolled from all my classes. Its been a week and they still haven't fixed my problem, now I am behind in my classes. Thanks MGA

  Incredible store, great atmosphere, selection and service. No bookstore could ever be better. The service is outstanding and knowledgeable. One of the largest independent bookstores in the country. Very nice, comfortable store with an extensive events list. The overall design of building is amazing as well.

  Tough but good school. Needs work though, I'm in the IT program and there are no hands on labs to speak of.

  I just started my summer quarter yesterday and I love it but it was a pain getting in because you have to have so much stuff! Just get everything in order before going! Lol

  This is EASILY the most unorganized "college" I've ever attended. No one seems to be able to tell you anything when you need help. As a new student, I needed a little guidance in what was next. The Macon campus ties the hands of the Warner Robins campus, (who by the way are much more helpful, mature and seemingly educated), and won't even allow them to give out ID's and campus parking passes! WTF??? The attitude in the Macon enviroment is such that "I already have my paper, it's up to you to get yours"! The Macon campus hires a bunch of ignorant, unable to communicate with the public students to avoid paying professional level staff, thereby making a hefty sum off those who actually pay for an education, with all their ridiculous institution fees! This is my first semester and will be my last!!! Unfortunately middle georgia is seriously lacking in schools that offer the program that I am being educated in, therefore I will have to drive an hour one way next semester in order to attend a University that has one of the best reputations and programs in the state of Georgia. I can tell already that it will be so worth the drive and time.Your complaints to faculty in "authoritative" positions go no where, because they simply don't care. I was completely caught off guard about just how bad this school is but I should have run for the border when I saw their horrible student retention rate! Do your research prior to enrolling into these so called institutions of higher learning with their illiterate, money hungry leadership. I would have given it a big fat 0 but 1 was the lowest I could go. I could go on and on but I care not to waste any further anger and disappointment filled energy on this ghetto school
