August 202: Update from below. I just used Jason again to install gutter guard. He and his partner cleaned 25 gallons of debris from my gutters, installed gutter guard and also fixed a few vents all in about 2.5hrs. We get so many leaves and excited to not worry about my gutters again. You can see there was already a lead sitting on top as soon as they left. Can’t wait for fall. Great job.
June 2019: Jason and his partner were great. They replaced 2 gutters for me and filled a crack in my siding. They were very knowledgeable and explained what they did and why they use the materials they do. I will definitely make them my first call next time I need work done. Thanks for helping guys!
Michigan’s Handyman is the bomb! I was able to set up an appointment via text. They pick a week to come out (not a specific date) and then leave a bill in your mail box. They came to clean my gutters when they said they would and even called me to make a recommendation for additional down spouts where the water was pooling. They then came back a few days later, installed the down spouts, and even got a color that was very close to my existing downspouts. Over all, getting this service was low maintenance and high quality. Thank you so much!
We had our shutters replaced and Mike and Victor (forgive me if I got the wrong name) did a great job. The shutters look fantastic. It turned out to be a much harder job than it should have been thanks to the paper wasps that had taken up residence behind the old shutters. I wouldn't have blamed them if they had given up, but they persevered and got the job done.
Everything from the first call onwards made me very happy to deal with this company. Prompt and polite responses and good work at a good price. I will definitely recommend them and use them again
The company foreman, Dennis S., installed a kitchen backsplash for us. I made a major mistake in trusting they knew what they were doing and would be honest. Another major mistake I made was not doing a proper inspection before writing a check. The tile was chewed up, broken, and uneven all the way around (see photos). There was no space between the mosaic tile sheets; they were stacked directly on top of each other. When I asked why they didn’t use spacers I was given a ridiculous reply. There were other issues more minor, to include 3 outlets that were fried because he did not turn off the electricity before using a wet sponge to clean the grout off. We requested the job be redone. I asked the owner Robert G. to come to our home twice, both times he refuse and threatened to take us to court if we did not accept taking a couple hundred off the bill. Robert also stated “it’s not like they are not going to let us get paid.” The job was horrible and needed to be redone, the owner never saw the work in person, when he saw the pictures (same ones posted) he said that was a quality job. When we went to court both the magistrate and judge commented on how bad the job was but awarded them payment because I did not do an inspection before writing a check. If you see a contractor doing something that does not look right to you stop them, do not let them finish or you will be stuck with paying for terrible work. Also, ask for the names of the people doing the work and search their names to make sure they have a good reputation. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY! The owners go to response to unhappy customers is “I’m sorry you feel you and a bad experience…” he does not care. If he did he would have come to our home and actually looked at the work, not threaten to take us to court. Instead of taking responsibility for terrible work and insulting customer service they blamed us for not taking their “expert” advise.
Note: We asked to have the tile even with the bottom of the cabinet all the way around. Their "expert" advice, was to go to the ceiling on the walls with out upper cabinets so we couldn't see the cuts. At no point did they tell us that they could not cut glass tile.
