I grew up on a ranch southwest of Fort Pierre, South Dakota along the banks of the Bad River. During those wonderful years I had a passion for two things.... horses and photography.

As often happens I got sidetracked by life and set my passions on the back burner. God blessed me with a wonderful husband and a lovely daughter and I was content to live my life with them. Although I still loved my horses and taking photos..... it wasn't as important as it once was to me.

Then, nine years ago, the unthinkable happened and I lost my husband in a tragic car accident. That event started me down a road of self discovery that brought me back to my old passions and helped me to find a few new ones too.

Today I am back home in Fort Pierre, South Dakota, married to a wonderful man. I spend as much time as possible with the people that I love and with my camera chasing the beauty and adventure of South Dakota and it's remarkable people.

It is my hope, that in my photographs you too can see the beauty of South Dakota and it's wonderful people.
