I banked here for nearly a decade. I recently overdrafted my account, because I called to check my balance and then made a transaction based on that amount. I get an email telling me my account is overdrafted. So, I go in to close the account because right now I do not have the money for fees. I get told it doesn't have a negative balance. So, I asked why my account was overdrafted. She told me "you have to have $5 in your account at all times". Okay. Why didn't the person I spoke to remind me of that? I called in to check my balance. It was low. A friendly reminder that "your actual balance you can use is ____" would have been appreciated. The teller immediately got defense and said "well, you should know that". Okay. Regardless, that is terrible customer service. So, I closed the account. That was a whole nother process. Oh, and my social has been wrong in their system for almost a decade. Way to go.
I called to get help with a pre approval home loan and no one ever called me back. This is not the first time this has happened. Another time I called about a car loan and no one ever responded. I have a few accounts at the Credit Union but am prolly going to close them. If you don't care enough to call customers back then you most likely don't want or need their business.
MUCCU is great to their members but this location isn't a branch anymore just a drive through
They're great, very willing to work with you and always friendly and the online services while dated in appearance are fast and easy to use
I lost some critical information in a public place that put our accounts in jeopardy. When I explained the situation to the teller, she listened carefully and called in her supervisor. In turn, her supervisor introduced me to a Senior Representative who made our case top priority. She told me that they would do everything to mitigate the loss of our money. She had my wife drive over from our home with critical information we needed.
The happy result is that because of the quick action and great service of the Miami University and Community Federal Credit Union, we did not lose any money and we were back to normal on that same day.
